@LCS_Eevee @yetanotherscrub @drewlevin that would beat the whole point, assuming it's even possible, of a hard reset
all players above diamond were reset to just slightly above diamond by now, and i believe the game doesn't even remember or differentiate where they were before in a meaningful way, since hard reset
English

That is true a diamond 1 guy is not very different from a master 0LP guy. but a diamond 1 guy and a GM guy there is a big difference. thats why im saying just for the first patch of the reset when EVERYONE above master+ is master 0 LP mmr they should have made it so Diamond players cant get into master lobbies.
English

@jay221296625342 @Chimperr @drewlevin @Manco1lol are you dumb or acting? resetting all ranks will make it MUCH WORSE, you are complaining that this feels bad, making all ranks makes this exact thing WORSE
English

@Chimperr @drewlevin @Manco1lol What fix? They shit ain't a fix, it's even worse now. It's complete fucking dogshit. Like I said in the original comment you bot, remove the fucking aegis shit & full reset ALL ranks
English

@SaNkKe_ @drewlevin @NEACETWEETS One instance or two of sarcasm doesn't make it bad behavior. But excessive pinging is being punished and an instance or two of sarcasm most likely will escalate into something worse. If it's just the one instance, no, sarcasm itself is not bad behavior (if it's just the one time)
English

@drewlevin @NEACETWEETS Out of curiosity, does sarcasm get flagged as bad behavior aswell? Like someone says "You are such a good player!!" after pinging you for a missplay or something like that
English

Guy claims he had one bad game (0-15 autofilled adc) and got 30day ban.
If you dont mind @drewlevin can you check for curiosity sake

@nognogsunog123 @drewlevin @goodvibesNA @jynxzi @nognogsunog123 Drew has a tweet referencing exactly this and pointing out that yes account buying/selling is illegal so there you go
English

@nognogsunog123 @drewlevin @goodvibesNA @jynxzi though he's still violating Riot's ToS I think (account selling is not allowed), the issue was with people buying accounts to get around bans or to smurf as quickly as possible
Jynxzi is just going to be hardstuck in low ELO as he learns the game, so is not the same as smurfing
English

@jurasek_robin @drewlevin @AzamatWd if it's a baseless report, yes, but if you go 0/15 on a ranked game, whats not to say you won't do it when playing with other people? the system can't measure things by ifs or player intentions, thats unrealistic and dangerous
the best way is not to int and you'll be fine
English

@drewlevin @AzamatWd Hi drew, I remember you mentioning that reports from friends/teammates don't count? Since a lot of friends report just for fun.
English

Good morning @drewlevin,
IM SORRY FOR BOTHERING YOU BUT I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP!
I have a problem and I want you to review my situation more carefully Since Twitter has a character limit, I explained everything in anote (anotepad.com/notes/b8hedk7e)
I would really appreciate it

@DiscussingFilm @Jorraptor Right one looks a lot better. The scene doesn't need the stormy/dark look, specially when it's two characters that become brothers meeting for the first time. And also, your average day on the Caribbean looks like the right one sooooo

@Zozo_3AM @DumbsYT I went ahead and confirmed my statements and if you have all your fingers in one hand, you can prove this true too.
EDG Worlds 21
RNG MSI 21 & 22
JDG MSI 23
BLG First Stand 26
Those are the only times LCK has been contested since 2020 at the international stage. Only by the LPL
English

@Zozo_3AM @DumbsYT The answer is very obvious. They WIN. LCK has been the best region in all of LoL history and they've been basically uncontested for 6 years except for the few things the LPL did, and those times can be counted on one hand. People follow winners and competition, and thats the LCK

A C*NTENT CREATOR'S TAKE ON ALL THE COSTREAMING DRAMA:
It is crazy for people to shift blame to costreamers and creators, when the core problem is way deeper
Costreaming is the byproduct of people WANTING to watch LEC/LCK/LCS, quite literally any esports
But the main product is just not good enough for them to actually spend their time on watching it
The main reason for that? Lack of personality, lack of story and lack of genuine "entertainment"
Los Ratones was an amazing example of what GOOD personality, AMAZING story and GENUINE entertainment can bring to the table
I had never watched 3 weeks of LEC in a row since 2019 before LR came to the scene, I was quite literally sitting on my couch watching LEC like I'm a 40-year-old dad watching my favorite local football team
And the same happened to my friends, who had NEVER previously watched ANY League esports matches
And I can 100% say, the same happened when KC and Mkoi first got into LEC in their respected fanbases
What do these 3 have in common?
Personality, a good story and genuine entertainment
But you can't keep the hype up forever
The product of "League esports" has fundamental problems, that cannot be fixed overtime without doing anything
You CANNOT manufacture stories, they need to be created by the players/owners themselves
Riot (and other esports orgs) can only ENHANCE them
I've seen multiple esports orgs try to dip their toes into genuine content creation, which I do find amazing because sometimes the ideas are fun and can only be made with the budget they have
But seeing videos with 500k views about "fun guessing games" content and then seeing videos with LITERALLY LESS THAN 100 VIEWS ABOUT THEIR TEAM OR PLAYERS (yes 1-0-0) IS DIABOLICAL
Because the teams ARE NOT able to utilize these numbers at all because the CONTENT isn't coming from the players themselves, it is coming from the TEAMS trying to set the content up and VIEWERS playing along the videos
There are very few players streaming/creating content, being a personality or be entertaining outside of them going to the LEC arena and playing League
Just compare it to Cloud 9/TSM/Fnatic players back in the day
I would follow people people cus they GENUINELY WERE PASSIONATE about not just being good at the game but also being entertaining
(obviously League itself was in a different state as well but you get the point)
The cultural impact that Los Ratones had for western League esports was quite literally 3x of all LCS teams combined in the last 3 years
Fuck man, Baus could watch paint dry for 1-hour and it would have more cultural impact than LCS finals
Little bit of a side note but teams having content creators for the team making content, "can" be a valid strategy the nullify the void of "the team not being entertaining enough"
Good strategy in theory, but getting random content creator with high views doesn't do anything, the creator HAS TO BE GENUINELY included in the team, emotionally and thematically
Good examples of successful ones are Tarik for Sentinels and KeshaEUW for G2
But that's a whole other story on how esports teams cooked that one
So what can be done about it?
The core problem is that product of League esports currently is boring, lacks passion and entertainment
And it has a lot to do with fr*nchising because it enables the teams/owners/players to basically... do nothing
Obviously, everyone is still trying their hardest to win, keep the content going and all that... but it's not enough
You already made it, so even the most passionate player/owner/team cannot keep their PEAK passion forever
You are still getting paid, you are still able to compete and you are still able to even win your region's league
So why bother doing anything else?
And that's where you lose the audience
And you cannot blame any owner/player for that, it is just how franchising works
And I know the OWNERS WOULD HATE if Riot got rid of the franchising, after all, they invested 10+ millions to be part of it
But I also assume they do not like their investment being valued less than a shawarma + coke
PEOPLE WANT STORIES
LET PEOPLE HAVE STORIES
I would honestly love to see just some 5 unknown EXTREMELY PASSIONATE Bosnian guys destroy Tier 1 teams for a season
Quite literally would be there every day watching that if they would be winning
People love underdog stories, and that is something not possible with no gateway to actually play and prove yourself
That is how you create new fanbases, new stories and new banger entertainment... organically
With PASSION from the players who want to prove themselves
Not just in the game, but outside of it as well
PASSION IS THE KEY
but the lock is missing
Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk
English

@DumbsYT I love that you mentioned how yes official broadcasts might get a few views if Caedrel doesn't stream but there would be an overall lost, which people seem to ignore. Also Caedrel's YT videos are very easy to follow and entertaining, which help a lot for people with little time
English

I also wanna don't wanna be that guy buuuut I did technically call out some part of this drama a year ago
No shade to Caedrel btw, I would honestly stop my stream as well if I wasn't feeling it with all the pressure
But this is the byproduct of multiple problems about League esports in general
It is not the players fault, not the teams fault, not the owners fault or the costreamers fault
It is fault of the main product of itself
MAKE IT BETTER
