🤯My goodness! I've always wanted to see Superheavy jump off the pad like that! Although I don't think this was as fast as they originally planned. But, now that the pad isn't holding the vehicle back anymore we can see the true monster thats been hiding this entire time.

Paints the picture. No time to think about anything other than finding a pitch angle that avoids the stall/break and (hopefully) prevents the sink. Not enough thrust on #3 though after #1 killed #2. Heavy. Lots of gas. Not enough thrust. Godspeed.

@Keg767 @speedbird020 Almost seems like @Qantas invented the @Airbus #A350. I was a Captain on that beautiful bird in 2019. Hardly rocket science yet Qantas are promoting this whole thing like it's the newest thing since sliced bread. Almost embarrassing to be an Aussie pilot.

Why is their two levels of sound I hear you ask?
It’s called METOTS. Modified Engine TakeOff Thrust Setting. Prevents the engine from exceeding 78% N1 until IAS > 35 knots. Prevents flutter on fan blades and improves airflow into engine.

@SteveNomadic Spirit obviously would be dead either way. The merger with B6 would have at least let them go out on their own terms.
Covid is the root of Spirit’s death. Over 5% of the domestic market in 2019 compared to 1.5% projected market share this month. Consumers changed, Spirit didn’t.
