@DOGE_FAA @AmericanAir 4/ @AmericanAir you stranded me and my husband totally unnecessarily and preventably. I want my money back. I want your staff retrained. And now we’re taking seats that could have been empty for someone else. This is beyond.

3/ @DOGE_FAA should get a count of people at the gate before the doors closed, trying to get in, during a travel meltdown. How many people had to sleep on the floor? Miss work days? Pay out of pocket expenses? As @AmericanAir tried to blame it on the weather and the passenger

1/ Good morning, @AmericanAir @iflymia Nearly froze trying to sleep in a chair last night. This morning, people are exhausted and chatty. There’s a pattern to people’s stories - being at the gate and the gate agent refuses entry unnecessarily. Flights taking off with empty seats

@AmericanAir This isn’t weather. This is AA running roughshod over passengers. This is AA flying planes w/empty seats & backing things up worse bc instead of letting 1 person on, they kicked 1 person off. The plane was still loading. Ppl were waiting to get thru the door. I was at the gate.

@AmericanAir The gate agent said my husband had to leave the first plane because they can’t split a confirmation code. He had his own ticket and confirmation code! The reservation wasn’t linked! He should have been allowed to fly and be at work tomorrow. You just messed this up so badly.

@AmericanAir Update: the next flight left without us. We’re stuck in the airport without our luggage - no fresh clothes, no toothbrush - until who knows when.

@AmericanAir I’ve been standing on line for almost an hour and a half. At this pace, there’s easily another 5 hours till I get to the front. No one is helping me. This is cruel.

@AmericanAir I was checked in. I was right there. No one paged me. People at the plane door were still boarding. All they had to do was let me through the gate. It’s crazy. Now you need to find seats for us.

@AmericanAir W/thousands of people stranded, they couldn’t let 1 person at the gate on?! The airplane door was open. They had time to walk my husband back to the gate, which means they had time to let me on. He didn’t even know he was being thrown off. He thought they were coming to get me.

3/ @americanair @iflymia so my carryon is on the plane. Who’s taking it off for me?! My husband’s suitcase is on the plane. You’re taking off with a suitcase with no owner?! Isn’t that a massive security risk?! How could you do this?!?! And we’re stuck in Miami with nothing

2/ @AmericanAir @iflymia my husband tells the stewardess that I’m trying to get on. There was no clear final boarding call. I went to board. They won’t let me on. THEY THREW HIM OFF THE PLANE!!!!! Instead of let me on, they escorted him off. WTAF. Clearly there was time

1/ ARE YOU 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 KIDDING ME??!!!!!! I went to board the plane. There was no final boarding call. They said all passengers with seats please board now, so I gathered my things and went to board. The door was closed. @AmericanAir @iflymia

@AmericanAir @iflymia this is the bag drop line. This is shameful. We’re all going to miss our flights. It’s a minute 25 just to walk to the entrance of the line to take the video! This is just to drop a bag. We all already checked in online.
