Time permitting, I will engage with anyone on my feed who makes a cogent argument and provides data to support hypotheses. But I have zero tolerance and block immediately those engaged on my feed in namecalling or disinformation. My feed; my rules.
@ImSoSarah Your loyalty should be to yourself and your career, the relationship with the company should be quid pro quo. Part of quid pro quo should be strong leadership that allows you to perform your job without blockers.
Since the pandemic and the mass transition to remote work I’ve gotten to see and know my neighbors so much better. It’s nice. Feels more like a community versus and empty neighborhood where everybody has gone off to the office, gets home late and then vegges out in their house.
This will sound crazy to some, but the longer people #work a hybrid schedule, I predict their interest in going into the office to see & connect with colleagues will grow, not lessen.
Our desire to work remotely won't wane -- but our desire to do it every day of the week will.
@fogarty_stephen That is my favorite for sure...it won't crop into the circles - but i'll be using that personally.
Thanks!! Hope you and the fam are enjoying mothers day!
What’s happening at SVB is horrific. So many amazing startups that simply kept their funding there will be out of business in weeks if not sooner without help. If there is anything the government should move swift on its this. The fallout will be huge and destabilizing.
I’m working with a client that has a screening question, “why are you interested in [our brand]” and I’m starting to see a lot of almost identical, generic answers, pretty sure these candidates are using AI. I strongly recommend against this. Your answer should be authentic.
Had a deep convo with a friend about dying. His partner is a hospice nurse & said that people who felt that they lived a good life and were kind let go peacefully, and those that had unresolved issues and broken relationships tended to be scared & resisted dying.
