@jscryptopia @CollinPeskett Yeah, but many are already getting 2-3% on the Credit Card. Plus they get 2.5-5% at top merchants like Chevron, Home Depot, Uber, CVS, Doordash. You also get rewards on Bill Pay. It's a no brainer. No games, no categories.

@fold_app @CollinPeskett Yeah most won’t get 4%. They pay 1% on everything else so yes below you but dinning gas and groceries add up fast and there are no caps on it except gas at (300/mo). I just find fold system confusing and hard to reach higher amounts back. Really should have been at least 2% back.

@jscryptopia @CollinPeskett Fold is up to 4%. Check out the other cards own data and you'll find they actually pay out far less than 1.5%-- mind the caps and limited categories. We're creating the daily driver card.

@CollinPeskett @fold_app Gem is 4,3,2,1 - gas/ev, dinning, groceries, everything else. Personally think Gem is a better deal specially if you use it wisely and it has more back in the best categories that most people need. But I still love fold but the 1.5% back is below average. Have referral for gem.

@fold_app Appreciate the clarification. It would definitely be more convenient if there were a built-in option to manually link external bank accounts directly within Fold for users whose banks aren’t supported by Plaid.

@TridentLayers45 Correct you can send funds from your bank to Fold using your account and routing number if the other funding options are not available to you.

@fold_app Got it. So just to confirm — there’s currently no way to manually link an external bank account inside Fold using routing and account numbers? The only option is to initiate the transfer from my bank’s side into the Fold checking account?

@TridentLayers45 Go to your bank interface and transfer funds TO Fold using your account and routing number.

@fold_app I just tried that, but when I go to the “One-time” deposit option it still forces me to connect a bank through Plaid instead of letting me manually enter my routing and account number. My bank isn’t supported on Plaid. Attached a screenshot of what I’m seeing.

@TridentLayers45 @willreeves Yes, just deposit funds to your Fold Checking Account using your account and routing number. You can then pay your CC off using that balance. No plaid required.
