The NHL Draft Lottery is tonight. If the #NYR maintain the 3rd pick, who do you want them to select? Right now, assuming McKenna/Stenberg go 1/2, I'm running to the stage to take Caleb Malhotra. A turnaround in my thinking from just two weeks ago when I was saying Reid.

@snyyankees Yeah, and yet Max Schuemann is on the roster! Yankees screwed Volpe by playing him injured most of last year, now he gets punished for it. Maybe play BOTH Volpe and Cabby (at 2B) and sit Jazz against lefties. Volpe needs to earn it, but play him healthy to give him the chance.

Anthony Volpe's rehab clock runs through the weekend. At that point, the #Yankees will have two choices: 1. Activate their starting shortstop of 3 years 2. Option him to the minors The latter would be a drastic departure from the way the club has handled Volpe in the past. The Yankees had the bases loaded and none out in the 4th. Payton Tolle got out of it -- Stanton K, Grichuk F9, Grisham K looking. Tolle has been impressive.

@TalkinYanks Yankees f’n around again playing non-3B at 3B. They did this to start last year and it cost them wins. Just play McMahon there and bat him 9th. He’ll bat 210, but at least the hardest defensive position will be locked down.
