Congratulations to the new interns on (almost) completing your first week of residency! Here is a quick 🧵of the lessons I learned during my intern year (1/n).

How about instead of expecting interns to know everything on day three you show them some grace and humility and teach them what to do. *this is not in reference to my program*

@SteveTimoney There's some fascinating research on the benefits of micro-breaks. Informal, 5-7 min periods taken throughout the day. They might seem trivial, but regular micro-breaks are associated with better rest/recovery and, of course, wellbeing.
