"Opinie" na temat #DLSS5 od nvidii, ai brosów i ludzi pokroju Todda Howarda uważam za kompletnie bezwartościowe (podobnie jak to nieszczęsne wideo Digital Foundry). Na szczęście pojawia się coraz więcej opinii od ludzi których istnienie DLSS5 dotyka bezpośrednio, a więc twórców gier - ale takich którzy faktycznie TWORZĄ gry, a nie korpogarniturów. Poniżej opinia człowieka który pracował nad RDR2.
Gdyby tam w nvidii ktoś miał choć trochę rozumu, to by zaczęli od pokazywania zmian środowiska, nie twarzy (choć i tak te zmiany są momentami absurdalne, pojawiają się źródła światła "z dupy", kontrast jest podkręcony do 11 i inne cuda).

DLSS 5 demo shows it can get a lot wrong (as gen AI does). Completely changes lighting and character features. Looks artificial compared to the crafted path tracing and modeling. Nothing shown so far proves this is the right step forward for gaming

NVIDIA just announced DLSS 5, which seems to generate AI images on top of upscaling, rather than just upscale what is already there as per all previous DLSS versions and this looks... not good. It is heavily leaning into AI slop, Grace looks like a completely different person.

I legitimately think people like this should be euthanized.
If you're this far gone—we're better off without you.
The same is true of criminals, those of inferior genetics and IQ, but people call me a madman, despite the violence, the crime, the murder, the horrible atrocities, no things like the "Death Penalty" are "too much."
Just let them live, let them be released forever so they can keep killing, how many people need to be killed before people understand? Forget about crime. Even just this impossibly fat parasite. Some people literally don't deserve to live amongst us.

A person of normal intelligence would think, "If I'm going to eat this whole cake, I'll get fat." These people can't possibly think about downstream effects. They simply don't have the cognitive function. This is a plague of those with IQs in the 80s. It impacts every aspect of their life. There is no tomorrow. There's only cake. Giving full agency to people below the curve generally ends in disaster. They can't help it.

I had never actually seen My 600 Lb Life before. A random clip or two. I started watching it and my God is it fascinating. One lady was over 600 lbs and the doctor put her on a 1200 calorie a day diet. He had expected her to be down 120 lbs in three months. He weighs her and she gained 12 lbs. Insane show.
