I’m thrilled with this group. Gordon is a great recruiter and keeping Martin and adding Cullen to help out is huge.
Laylin (as I’ve said before) is a terrific coach and Poderzay has done some incredible work.
It’s a great mix of current and new coaches.

Film evaluation for North Dakota State QB Cole Payton. After getting through some of his tape from this past season, he's in strong contention to be my 2026 QB1.. Strengths 🔘 Possesses a quick release with elite ball placement to all three levels of the field 🔘 High level throw maker capable of fitting balls into any window. Sometimes appears as though he is throwing balls through defenders 🔘 Elite processer with a high level understanding of leverage and the ability to speed up his delivery and accurately place balls under pressure 🔘 Strong and powerful runner who never gives up on a play. Can break tackles at a high rate and is a dangerous red zone threat Weaknesses 🔘 Has a tendency to not reset his feet after moving off initial target. It doesn't always impact his ball placement, but it's something to note as he translates between levels

#Gopherss Tanner Ludtke tries to get the puck to Brody Lamb, but it's just mishandled and gives Jayden Perron a breakaway that ends the OT 2:09 into the session. Tough mistake to end this one.

Not a pretty second period at 3M Arena at Mariucci just like Scott Sandelin would have drawn it up and it's 2-0 UMD going into the third period. #Gophers were disconnected most of the period and have to find their game again.
