Slot had a balanced squad and outclassed every coach in the world Then his squad was unbalanced in the summer and and the fans he won no.20 with left him to walk alone Iraola won’t win anything in Liverpool Mark my words You can like his style as much as you want but his inexperience and poor decision making will be the end of him A coach who never fixed his teams set piece vulnerabilities A coach who concedes goals after goals A coach who has zero experience on wining things I weep for my dear club Liverpool is about to go 2 years without a trophy and loose all its stars Back to being mid table again like Bournemouth 😔

🚨🎙️ Andoni Iraola: “I didn’t come to Liverpool to admire its history. I came here to add to it. The badge demands trophies. The supporters deserve trophies. And I won’t stop until this club is back where it belongs. Winning isn’t a dream at Liverpool. It’s the way of life.” 🏆❤️ #LFC

@forcee99 Arne Slot was a winner lmao let's break it down for you First season: kept Klopp's style of play and team to not upset rhythm Second season : Slots style of play which was slower attack more possession-based with new players which clearly didn't help him.

Let me say it again Liverpool fans Top talents don’t come to play for the sporting director or Head of football They come to play with top players Or Be coached by a Top manager so they could become better Or Fulfill their childhood dreams The first two options are the most likely for Liverpool but here lies a problem with the first option: Our top players have left or about to leave due to age and our current top talents are yet to mature into top players The second option is probably what will help Liverpool attract top talent which is having a Top manager.. A winner Wether you like it or not, Arne slot was a winner *He squeezed out god levels from an aging Salah *Turned lazy gravenberch into young midfielder of the year *Decimated Everyone in the champions league group stage *Won the premier league with 4 games to go and went to Ibiza *Reached the league cup final Iraola can’t match that and that’s a fact That was purely the reason top talents like Isak, Ekitike, wirtz, Jacquet and Diamonde wanted to come The sooner everyone understands this, the faster we’ll begin to see the real problem to our woeful transfer activity “Iraola”

@forcee99 Absolute rubbish … Liverpool are Liverpool … if they come knocking on the door … most proven level talent will at the very minimum take a hard look at it… Isak did boy look at slots Liverpool and say I want to play for that man.. no way….

@forcee99 You’re wrong bro. Money talks. 90-95% of it comes down to money. Everything else you’re talking about may compel a player to choose one over another but that’s it. Most players care less about winning than they’ll ever admit. Sterling & Willian are 2 recent examples.

Nobody wants to admit now but signing Iraola was a big step backwards for Liverpool A mid table coach who has won nothing in his life.. there is no way on this earth he could attract top talents.. No way And we’re seeing that this summer across all boards Iraola will be the end of Liverpool The sooner Liverpool fans accept this, the better

Sounds like a plausible hypothesis….. but I think you are underplaying the pull of lfc in recent years. What it boils down to is that top talent want top $$$…. Of the 10 or so elite clubs in Europe’s top 5 leagues, the difference is usually what you give to players and their agents.

The thing I’m most looking forward to under Iraola: Liverpool being horrible to play against again 🔴👀 Last season we were too passive, too easy to play through. Iraola’s Bournemouth were relentless - man-to-man press, direct at your throat every transition 👌🏽 That’s OUR identity coming home and I hope Iraola sticks to his core principles😤

Immediately lowering expectations while ppl were crying abt standards last season. Very interesting
Ian Doyle@IanDoyleSport

Andoni Iraola will be forgiven for wondering what exactly he's stepped into when Liverpool begin their season at Newcastle on August 23. Memories are still raw from the Alexander Isak transfer saga last summer, and emotions are sure to be running high in a hostile stadium. It doesn't get much easier after that with the visit of Forest, now under Oliver Glasner. Forest have won on their last two trips to Anfield and Glasner led Crystal Palace to three wins over Liverpool last season. Ipswich away looks more appealing but perhaps not under the lights on a Friday night, while there will be a sense of the unknown for the home game against Alvaro Arbeloa's Fulham before the complete opposite - at least for Iraola - at Bournemouth. There's still plenty of time in the transfer window for Liverpool to bolster their resources, but the loss of so much experience from the squad will be felt in those early weeks. If I was Liverpool, I’d 100% be looking at signing Karim Adeyemi from Dortmund. Now he’s off to Barcelona and the Right Wing market continues to get worse and worse.
