A low-key end to a dismal season for Liverpool, but getting out of it with Champions League football secured was all that mattered and they did that. Thoughts will now immediately turn to ensuring next season is so much better - it has to be.

@stuartiwilson He’s not inexperienced, he’s top quality and Liverpool have wanted him for a while. He had a major injury which he’s now recovered from. He’s also a left footed LCB which we don’t have. Van Dijk won’t be here forever and Konate hasn’t signed a new contract yet

If it was possible, Levi Colwill would be a brilliant signing for us. Post ACL, he’s already shown he’s still got the quality. He’s elite at playing out from the back and has leadership qualities. A backline Colwill and Jacquet would be very strong in terms of complimenting each other. I don’t see Chelsea selling however.

This happens, then Slot is staying for the foreseeable future. Do we just have to suck it up and go again? Because complaining about it into next season is going to be just as painful.

For any winger who Liverpool sign they will have some of the biggest boots to fill in world football. It’s tough, and whoever believes in themselves to do so will get huge amounts of respect and backing from the fans. As long as our fans don’t start comparing them to the Egyptian King, then whoever it is the club choose will be the right player. Just tell yourself how much Salah cost before questioning another player.

Gravenberch’s 2025/26 season what actually went wrong?: After an insane performance from him last season He’s been struggling to dominate duels, often getting bullied in midfield battles, lacking that physical bite and defensive aggression we need His passing range looked a bit safe and limited at times, decision-making has been inconsistent, and he went quiet in too many big moments. I didn’t not see this much crying on the timeline when we signed Jörg Schmadtke on a six months contract and he brought in Szobo, Grav, Macca and Endo. But I’m supposed to believe Edward’s, Hughes and Slot having only a year on the deals will destroy our future with new players
