Iran's extensive involvement in operations targeting dissidents, Israelis, Jews, and others in Europe over the last few years adds to the likelihood that it is behind Ashab al-Yamin. Currently, the attacks have been low-casualty, seemingly targeting institutions, rather than individuals, creating fear among the Jewish population in Europe. One only needs to look at news headlines to see that the attacks are having the desired psychological effect that I believe Iran intended to create. However, that does not mean these attacks will not escalate. There's more to unpack about these attacks, their consequences, and what it means for the future.
