Last week pushed us harder than we expected. We saw explosive growth in a very short time window, and candidly, we weren’t infra-ready for that level of demand in one week. The team has been running on minimal sleep, no weekends, doing everything possible to keep the app usable while scaling in real time. A big source of friction has been payments. Our current deposit flow generates a new address per request, and despite warnings, many users deposit multiple times to the same address. Funds are safe, but recovery requires manual verification, which quickly snowballed into 400+ support tickets and pulled devs away from shipping core upgrades. At the same time, we were mid-migration of treasury infrastructure. Relay + HyperEVM caused severe slippage on cross-chain deposits, creating even more failed deposits and manual refunds. That issue is now fully resolved after migrating the main treasury to Polygon (same stable liquidity setup used by Polymarket), which immediately stabilized deposits. This past week forced some hard but necessary decisions. What started as a HyperEVM-aligned project is now clearly evolving into something bigger: an app designed around chain abstraction, interoperability, and mass consumer UX. Users don’t care what chain is underneath, they just want things to work. Going forward: Deposit addresses with many-transfers option (if you deposit to old address funds also will be processed) Multichain deposits & withdrawals (ETH, Base, Arbitrum, BNB, Solana, more) Solana-based launches with LayerZero OFT for cross-chain liquidity in the future Less manual intervention, fewer support bottlenecks, better UX Another source of friction has been a mathematical loophole which allowed multi acc users to drain referral fees from token creation. Part of growth is trying new things and constant iterations. What seemed like a promising affiliate model turned into affiliate multi acc abuse and extraction. We decided to remove the token creation affiliate fee and replace it with an additional 5% fee based off trading volumes. Now every affiliate starts at Tier 1 with a 15% rate rather than 10%, and can progress up to 45% in Tier 7. Additionally, we have credited several accounts who experienced deposits and withdrawal issues with additional bonus balances. Much more is coming before the new year, or just after, including: Onchain token migrations A brand new, permanent Scoreboard New Mindshare Mining model Daily trader fee rebates (weighted by their total volume) To early supporters: If we’ve been struggling to process your issues, it’s not neglect, it’s overload. A synopsis of an earlier incident on Catapult: 1. A user discovered a vulnerability in our code and exploited it for approximately $100k. They managed to withdraw $10k before our alerts triggered. We immediately went offline to prevent any further treasury drainage. 2. As a result of the exploit, many user-launched tokens recorded highly abnormal creator fees due to the exploiter’s large-volume trading. 3. As a precaution, we took a snapshot of all user balances and reverted them to their pre-exploit state. 4. All trades that were stuck in a negative PnL at the moment of shutdown were annulled, and all losses were refunded. All trades that were stuck in a positive PnL were closed at market prices, and users kept their profits. 5. Any “fake fees” generated by users on their tokens as a direct result of the exploit are not eligible for withdrawal. 6. Fees spent on token creation during the exploit window are being reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If we verify that a user legitimately paid creation fees and those fees were deducted from their balance, that amount will be refunded. We will publish a full announcement once the review is complete. There should not be, and there will not be any scenario where a user ‘lost money.’

Even if there's a shielded/zk hyperliquid and traders can shield their transactions and entries, how would that change the PA behavior if there are dozens of other perps exchanges which would still have public orders? You could enter a sized long at 106k on a "shielded/zk hyperliquid" and noone will see you, but someone else with the same size in the same spot would do that on a public dex. So if that person gets hunted, so will you as a result. For hunts to stop, it would require all traders in the world switching to a shielded/zk based perps product.
