🚨 Vitinha on Bruno Fernandes after his two assists for Portugal 🇵🇹: “He’s the best passer I’ve ever seen. In training, he pulls off even more unbelievable things. I’ve learned so much from him, especially his willingness to take risks with his passes. He’s the reason I watch Manchester United games, because there’s always something to learn from him.”

Book Title : The Golem Mage Chapter : 1100 Link : meganovel.com/story/The-Gole…, webnovel.com/book/263912933…, @MegaNovel_ofcl , @webnovel Bonus Read : After saying that, both of them began channeling mana into their mana Pools. Unlike Alec, they didn’t possess space pouches, meaning their golems still resided within their mana pools. While this was the default resting place for newly created golems, it became inefficient once a mage controlled multiple Golems, at that point, acquiring a space pouch was far more practical. Almost instantly, runes formed above them, glowing faintly before stabilizing, as a portal opened. From Arthur’s side emerged a silver-colored golem, its form resembling a decorative suit of chainmail armor mounted for display, only now reinforced with an additional layer of polished silver plating. On Brandon’s side, a wooden treant appeared, it stood tall, its build far more muscular than a typical treant, though its body was entirely wood, parts of it had naturally formed into distinct shapes, a belt around its waist and guards around its hands that seems to have been crafted from a darker shade of timber. Even Brandon didn’t fully understand why his golem had taken on such a form, but after its evolution, it had chosen this configuration. The darker wood wrapped around its waist like a belt-like short covering, while its hands bore what looked like reinforced wooden gauntlets, though it towered over Brandon, yet that didn’t hinder their ability to fight in sync. “Merge!” Arthur called out, as his golem’s body instantly disassembled into countless fragments, each piece shooting toward him. In the blink of an eye, they enveloped him completely—layer by layer—until he stood clad in full silver armor, exuding the presence of a knight. “Ready!” Brandon asked, noticing that both Fang and Sojin had reappeared and were already closing in, their blades nearing lethal range. “Yes,” Arthur responded, before activating a spell he had been casting silently [> Mid Tier Spell — Sand Cloud <] A mass of sand rose into the air above them, swirling rapidly like a contained vortex, its motion resembling a small, rotating river pool suspended midair, uncertain of their intentions, Sojin reacted immediately. He flicked his hands again, sending another wave of dual kunai flying toward them, hoping to disrupt their casting before it fully took effect. However, they ignored him completely, as Brandon made the next move, by casting his own spell, while Arthur’s face became fully concealed beneath a helmet, with only a narrow rectangular slit left for his eyes. [> Mid Tier Spell — Quicksand Trap <] The ground beneath them collapsed instantly, since they didn’t resist and with Brandon controlling the spell, they were swallowed whole in an instant before the incoming kunai or the two shinobi could even reach them. “Eiiik—” Sojin and Fang both halted sharply at the edge of the swirling quicksand, they had already seen what the spell could do to mages in the last War God Team match, and they weren’t about to fall for something so obvious. But then confusion began to set in, as they started to question ‘why would they cast it on themselves?’ Their eyes instinctively shifted upward, to the sand cloud still swirling in the air, as they started to think ‘it had to be connected, as there was no way the Gordons would willingly trap themselves without a follow-up plan.’ As their attention fixed on the rotating sand mass above—Roots suddenly burst out from the quicksand below, as vine-like tendrils coiled around their legs, tightening and dragging them closer into the sinking ground. Reacting instantly, both of them swung their weapons, slashing at the wooden restraints to free themselves, but that wasn’t the real attack. Arthur descended from the sand cloud above, he had emerged at the exact moment their focus was split—timed perfectly with their struggle against the quicksand and the vines that seemed to have an undead ability. Without warning, he drove forward and slammed his shoulder into Sojin, launching him through the air, at the same time, Brandon appeared midair as well, with his treant beside him, having one of its massive arms still partially embedded within the swirling sand cloud above, At this point, it became clear to the spectators what was happening. They might not have fully understood the mechanics of the spells the Gordons duo had casted, but from what they could see, the swirling sand cloud above and the quicksand below were somehow linked. The Gordons duo were using them as a connected system—a kind of portal—allowing them to move seamlessly between positions. Fang attempted to shift into his smoke form to escape, but with his physical body constantly being restrained by the vines, he couldn’t fully transition, and each time he cut them away, more wrapped just seems to wrap around him, preventing his escape. But at this moment, Fang wasn’t even Brandon’s priority, Brandon had already begun casting another spell, this time targeting the area where Arthur and Sojin were clashing. Sojin, who had been sent flying by the shoulder bash, twisted midair and landed, quickly stabilizing himself, the instant he halted his backward momentum, he clapped his hands together, forming a hand sign. [> Mid Tier Spell — Shadow Lock <] At the same time— [> Mid Tier Spell — Earth Terrain Rearrangement <] While Sojin unleashed Shadow Lock—aiming to bind Arthur, who was charging low and fast with blade-like spikes extending from his forearms—Brandon responded with another spell instantly, aiming to interrupt Sojin’s intentions, as stone pillars erupted from the ground, disrupting the battlefield. Shadow chains shot outward, anchored to unseen points beneath the surface, each tipped with dark, nail-like extensions designed to pierce and restrain, but the sudden rise of the pillars obstructed many of their paths, forcing the chains to collide, redirect, or lose momentum. Seeing this, Sojin pushed his hands forward and shut his eyes, focusing intensely, he tightened his control over the shadow chains using mental control. Under his command, they began to maneuver more fluidly—slithering and weaving around the newly formed stone pillars with unnatural precision, their sinister tips angling toward Arthur from multiple directions. The chains coiled and lashed forward, trying to ensnare their target, but Arthur’s speed and flexibility had become a problem with Brandon’s help, he kicked off the ground and used the surrounding stone pillars as stepping platforms, shifting from one to another in rapid succession. Each push carried him further, weaving through the battlefield until he burst out of the pillar-covered zone, and was now only a few meters away from Sojin. A handful of shadow chains managed to keep up after being entangled around by the earth pillars that he had tried to get them lost in, as they snapped through the air behind him, but they were still just short of reaching him. Arthur, driven by a surge of adrenaline, dropped his stance slightly, as the dual spike blades extending from his forearms scraped against the ground as he accelerated forward—The sharp metallic screech echoed. That sound alone made fear creep into Sojin’s face, as his eyes snapped open— Too late. But as he opened them he realized that Arthur was already in front of him, with an explosive force, he drove his left arm first upward in a motion akin to an uppercut, as the metal blade embedded along his forearm tore through Sojin’s lower jaw— —and burst out through the top of his head. Sojin’s eyes widened in shock, his arms still extended as he struggled to muster enough strength to drive the nail-tipped shadow chains into Arthur’s back. But Arthur didn’t stop there, as his helmet shifted, opening and retracting downward in a smooth, segmented motion like a magically controlled nano-construct, to reveal his face, only these were being done by magic and not technology . Then his right arm came forward in a piercing motion. Again. And again. Each strike pierced through Sojin’s chest until his body finally went limp— —and dissolved, and that was how the first death of the final came about. “War God Mage draws first blood!” an announcement thundered across the entire silent arena.
