The second round delivered a clear mandate, with the Socialist candidate dominating the vote nationwide. 🔴 António José Seguro (PS | S&D) Seguro won the presidency with 67% of the national vote, emerging as the most-voted candidate in all but two municipalities across the country, a landslide result that confirms broad territorial and political support. 🟦 André Ventura (Chega | PfE) Ventura finished with 33%, improving his second-round performance by around +10 percentage points. 📊 A clear outcome The runoff showed a strong consolidation of support behind the Socialist candidate,rbringing the Socialist Party back to the presidency for the first time in 20 years. 📅 António José Seguro will now assume Portugal’s presidency for the next 5 years until the next election.
