.@fotodioxpro I've run into a problem. I inherited some gear but I need to buy another mount like this one for this light. What is this mount?

@NateTacey Yup. Looks like it's from our 1000AVL and 500AVL LED lights. How many did you need? I did find some units.

@fotodioxpro Unfortunately it is not. Looks like it was made for your light.

@Young_Mellz Hello! Unfortunately an E-mount to E-Mount or Pronto adapter would not be possible. The lens would be too far from the sensor to focus to infinity, and you wouldn't be able to use it for most conventional applications.

@fotodioxpro I have an a6400 and Samyang 12mm manual focus lens but its E mount. How would I get a pronto to be compatible? Is it possible to M mount back to E mount? As most of my manual lenses are e mount. Or do you make prontos that are emount to emount?

@Newtons_Laws Best we can do is put a word in for you to our R&D team, but at this point, it's hard to say if they'd move forward with it, as it is a rather niche combination.

Thanks for your helpful responses @fotodioxpro. The Contax 139 Quartz is old of course, just like my Rollei SL35ME which is about the size of a house brick. You mention adapter glass internally; is that something that introduces a possibility? I do just like that old Rollei.

@Newtons_Laws Since the Contax 139 Quartz should have a C/Y mount, it wouldn't need an adapter for the C/Y lenses, but I'm not familiar enough with the camera to say whether or not it'd be a good camera for you.

@Newtons_Laws However, using the C/Y lenses specifically on a QBM camera does raise some mechanical limitations such as the proximity of flange focal distance and the similar mount diameters. An adapter for this combo would need internal glass

@Newtons_Laws If you're intent on using the C/Y lenses specifically on a film camera, we do have adapters for both the Canon EF and Leica M system that don't involve any internal glass. These give the best resolution, as there's nothing to interfere with the lenses' optics.

I love vintage lenses @vaskoobscura_ Have a wonderful 85mm #Zeiss f2.8 but not found an adapter for my #Rollei #SL35ME. Everyone I've spoken to says its complicated & I'd need an engineering shop to make it, so I remain sad about that. Wanted to try film again #vintagelens

Vintage Canon FD 24mm f2.8 + Fotodiox adapter If you're into vintage lenses you should have a 24mm in your collection and the nFD 24mm f2.8 is a great choice. Introduced in 1979 it produces beautiful sharp images. #canon24 #fd24 #fd124mmf28 #vintagelens #vintageglass #24mm

@fotodioxpro In your opinion, as I am buying up Zeiss (Contax) lenses when the price is right, what would be the most versatile and competent body I could mate with? I have been considering the Contax 139 Quartz @fotodioxpro

@fotodioxpro I was pointed in your direction because I'm loooking for a Contax/Yashica converter for my Rollei SL35ME with the very limiting QBM mount. It was suggested to me that I may need to find someone who can modify or make a suitable converter. Any ideas?

@Newtons_Laws (2/2) Especially considering that the shortest adapter we have available (going from one bayonet to another) is 1.7mm. That, on top of some other physical limitations, make this a somewhat difficult adapter to develop.

@Newtons_Laws Hello! We have a lot of adapters that accept QBM lenses, but none go to the QBM bodies. In the case of the C/Y lenses, there's only a 1mm difference between the two systems, so it's not a whole lot of room to work with, unfortunately.

@vaskoobscura_ @Newtons_Laws Sounds like it might use the Rollei QBM, which we have a few adapters for, but it does depend on which system you're adapting to!

@_justinespejo Hello! The Pronto adapters are best used for stills (single-shot or continuous), and the autofocus functionality is not recommended for video. Thank you!

Spent a day in a snow covered Yosemite Valley. These were shot on a Fuji X-T3 using a 28mm Minolta lens with a fotodiox tilt-shift adapter. I shifted vertically to stitch 3 images. @_fujilove_ @fotodioxpro #minoltagang

@Sebuh_com Hello! Is the aperture on the lens not adjusting when you turn the lens' aperture ring? The PK adapter doesn't have its own aperture ring, so there shouldn't be anything on the adapter stopping the lens from operating as normal.
