@RTWBarefoot @rebhalp #trlt Excellent! Did you visit one/both of: the Memorial Museum in the Round Corner, or the Forum of Contemporary History?

#TRLT A4: In Zagreb is the "Zagreb80 museum", which was very interesting. An apartment laid out exactly as it would have been in 1980, down to the decor and the music. They even had clothing you could put on and objects you could play with!

@TheTravelCamel @t_jh2009 A2 #trlt The Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology in Drumheller, AB 🇨🇦 is phenomenal: science bits of physics, astrophysics, chemistry, geology, archaeology, evolutionary biology: lots of interesting fossils from “recent” K-T boundary to several hundred million years old.

@TheTravelCamel @CharlesMcCool A3 #TRLT Tall, ancient, thin- & smooth-trunk beech tree forests were called “holy halls”, providing inspiration for medieval architects’ visions of sky-reaching cathedrals with tree-like decorative elements. Nationalpark Jasmund (#UNESCO WHS), Rügen, 🇩🇪 - 3 June 2024

@hoyer_kat Thanks for this, Kat. In the Tränenpalast, a visitor can stand at an unmarked window facing the north station-entrance for S+U Friedrichstrasse. The distance is about 10 metres, but the glass wall lends the quiet moment an intense poignancy regarding longing and separation.

Guten Abend from Berlin. Passing through Friedrichstraße Station with the history goggles on is always strange. Where people bustle about freely now, others were kept apart in the Cold War when walls segregated passengers from the East and the West at this crossing point 🇩🇪🧱🇩🇪

@holafly_com I'm interested in purchasing your 90day Europe plan. There appears to be conflicting info: your website says "no local number" for plan, but a couple of external travel websites state that some/all Eur plans include a local number from Austria 🇦🇹 (... 1/n)

@fotoeins @CharlesMcCool Brilliant choice, Henry. The Petrified Forest, best known for its Triassic fossils, has a 200 million year old ecosystem with its own unique denizens adapted to the demanding environment of the surreal landscape in Arizona's Painted Desert. 🏜 #TRLT

@obligatraveler Similar to Le Corbusier, his buildings in Switzerland count as a site. We saw this house designed by him in Zurich last year. #trlt
