The truck used in the New Orleans attack was tracked crossing the southern border into the U.S. at Eagle Pass, Texas, on November 16, 2024. Eagle Pass, TX has been a flashpoint for illegal alien crossings, and is a hotbed of smuggling activity and is a known entry point for terrorists. He had an ISIS flag attached to the truck and was potentially linked to terrorism. The FBI believes he did not act alone. Jabbar also had weapons and improvised explosive device in the vehicle used during the attack. The FBI is actively investigating his associations and possible affiliations with terrorist organizations.
