@nikgeneburn Separating hardcore from “casual” character..adding in a map feature on the casual character would be incredible to get new people playing this..I love tarkov but this little QoL feature would keep me playing forever.

@foxp1868 @Nexooos @nikgeneburn lol it’s a beta fam, the game was made hardcore for hardcore genre. Why should they change that about their game. If they add a map the next thing will be quest markers, then name tags. I never understood why people come to something already established and what to make changes.

@CaptainRicky19 @Nexooos @nikgeneburn There’s a reason I play these games…I don’t like “easy mode”…if I did I’d still be playing cod…but I need maturity and realism in the games I choose to play..Tarkov checks both those boxes but a small QoL change like this to encourage new players, would be really nice.

@foxp1868 @Nexooos @nikgeneburn It’s one of those things that not need nor wanted. The people that originally supported the game and made it what it is today wanted a hardcore semi realistic shooter. People who came during and after 2020 want to turn the game into something casual. Like an easy mode dark souls.

@NiklasHartman17 @nikgeneburn That’s a good idea honestly…just something you can pull up that’ll give you an accurate representation of where you are at as opposed to a static map and compass…such an easy way to encourage new players to pickup the game and get into it right away imo

@foxp1868 @nikgeneburn The entire game is based on realism and static map is the closest thing u will ever get. If he wouldnt care then u would have it already and ur mates would shine bright blue through the entire map. But it thats not the case. The only thing he could add is a phone with gps

@ParabellumRustt @nikgeneburn Just sucks that you need to play offline and make no progress and take a LOT of time to just learn a game…all these beginner videos they’re putting out on mechanics, imagine how easy it would be for a new player base to start their tarkov journey with a QoL feature like this.

@CaptainRicky19 @Nexooos @nikgeneburn It’s unfortunate that replayability is only catered to full time gamers then…Tarkov is one of a kind and would get so much traction with a change like this…took me two(ish) years to learn maps at my speed of gaming…I’d be a full time supporter with a QoL feature like this.

@foxp1868 @Nexooos @nikgeneburn This game was never meant for you aka casual gamers. EFT is modeled of old style games where you have to struggle to master the game. But they have a in game map plus a practice mode so you can find all your POI and exits.

@NiklasHartman17 @nikgeneburn Did you not read what I was suggesting though? Not a static map where you have to look at where the sun is setting then use a compass to hopefully make the right guess…just a small QoL thing that shows you where YOU are on the map, nothing else.

@nebelzzz @nikgeneburn I know it’s your opinion but I still disagree..idk from a developers standpoint I would think I’d want the best part of my game would be questing, getting better gear, etc…gear fear and the hardcore milsim aspect are the most rewarding in my opinion 🤷🏻‍♂️

@Nexooos @nikgeneburn I just don’t get it…something implemented for new players to just pickup the game and go..still learn mechanics/spawns/etc. but being able to see where just you are on the map would keep me playing this forever

@foxp1868 @nikgeneburn Having to navigate the map using a map from the wiki and trying to figure out where you are by spotting key locations is a part of the fun of learning the maps

@GoVpoe @nikgeneburn I don’t get the majority opinion on this…Players who choose to use this option would literally have no advantage at all…don’t go full ABI and show me tasks on the map but at least being able to see where I’m at when I spawn on streets would just make me play this exclusively
