My thoughts on the draw at Derby. * useless pitch * Dan the man is the real deal 👍 * Kashif is a Bham League player. Maybe a one day player at pro level * Hose. Given him loads of stick but he was decent, raising my optimism that he’ll save/win a game to 5% * Bowlers. See #1

@foxyphill I didn’t know that mate. It’s a truly awful pitch at Derby, kept turning it off it was so boring. So, how does a pitch get classed as poor? That seems so subjective. Keep an eye on my Dan 1000 runs before the end of May!! He’s a super talent - 19 years old 😁

Significant change deep in this year's Champo regs. Any team whose pitch is rated "below average" will be docked all points from the game, regardless of result or bonuses - ie. you'd get 0 for a win. Likely, you'd think, to impact spinners in particular. thecricketer.com/Topics/county-…
