Applying to @a16z @speedrun 007? If you want the exact pitch deck that got us in, comment "SUN" and dm. Otherwise, here's the overview: It’s ~0.3% acceptance. For every company that gets in, 300+ are competing. Most people overthink the process. The truth is simpler. It’s all about signal. Your application is the first filter. High signal pitch, fewer slides, no fluff. Show team, traction, and why now immediately or you’re out. If you get the interview, don’t show up generic. Study the investors in the room. What have they backed? How do they think? Speak their language so they understand your product fast. Don’t lie. Not even a little. If you don’t know something, say it. Then show how you think and how fast you learn. And the part most people miss. Know who you are. If your team isn’t your strength yet, don’t oversell it. Lean into traction. Show speed, usage, momentum, social proof. If your team is strong, make that obvious in the first 10 seconds. Don’t bury your best card. Play your real advantage. And yes, if you’re applying to Speedrun 007, building agents is your best bet to get in...not really What gets you in is simple and hard at the same time: undeniable signal.

@MindTheGapMTG we are working on this domain and let me tell you radar is not the issue, its that adoption takes some time. So, successes cannot be bought with more money upfront.

$60B for code generation. Meanwhile domain-specific AI that handles regulated docs where one mistake costs millions? Barely on anyone's radar. The hard problem was never writing code. It's making AI work where you can't afford to be wrong.
Aakash Gupta@aakashgupta

This is wild. SpaceX now has the right to BUY Cursor for $60B. Or pay them $10 billion to walk away. To put it in perspective, Cursor was worth $9.9 billion total in May of last year. Let's have a closer look at the numbers. Start with the $60 billion. Cursor was already raising money this week at a $52 billion valuation from a16z and Nvidia. The Elon offer sits 15% above a number that was already on the table. The next round priced in, with a one-year fuse. The $10 billion is the real number. That's what SpaceX pays even if it walks away and never buys the company. The walk-away fee alone is more than the entire company was worth 12 months ago. Now the strategic logic. Cursor stopped being just an editor in March. They shipped Composer 2, their own model, and it beat Claude Opus 4.6 on Terminal-Bench at one-tenth the price. The catch is that frontier coding models need frontier compute, and the only labs with frontier compute are the same ones building competing coding products. OpenAI shipped Codex. Anthropic shipped Claude Code. Google has Gemini CLI. Cursor was renting capacity from every company trying to kill it. Colossus is the way out. 230,000 GPUs in Memphis today, 1 million by year end, the biggest training cluster on Earth. The Information already reported Cursor is renting tens of thousands of those chips to train Composer 3. SpaceX is also building Grok Code, so they're not a clean partner. But xAI losing the coding race to Cursor is a better outcome for SpaceX than Cursor losing the coding race to OpenAI. The trade Cursor made: gave up the right to be acquired by anyone else for one year. Got training compute at a scale no other lab would sell them. Got $10 billion guaranteed if Elon walks. OpenAI tried to buy Cursor in early 2025 and got rejected. Cursor stays independent for at least 12 more months and gets to train on the biggest cluster on earth doing it. Elon just bought a one-year call option on Cursor for $10 billion. That's the deal.

Go @cosmicanuj @fpdotmoney and the entire @OnFinance_ai team! The Onfinance team excels at many things but their ability to get Indian financial institutions as paying customers for such a young company (and founders) is second to none.
Anuj Srivastava@cosmicanuj

March 31, 2026. End of FY26. What a year. @OnFinance_ai A few things happened: 1.) We went from a handful of people in a room to 38 builders who show up every single day like it's Day 1. 2.) We now work with ~45 of India's largest financial institutions, names you see on billboards, stock tickers, and your banking apps. Their combined AUM/Market Cap? ~$783 Billion. Not a typo. 3.) We raised our Pre-A, backed by folks from Peak XV Partners, ex-OpenAI, CRED, Razorpay, and Groww. When people who've built generational companies back you, you know the problem you're solving is real. 4.) Our product suite quietly matured, multiple platforms, multiple personas, one mission. If you're in Indian BFSI and not talking to us yet, you probably will be in the next 12 months. 5.) We're also no longer just an India story. Southeast Asia. MENA. And soon, the US. Different markets, same conviction. 6.) Oh, and March was our best month all year. Poetic timing. 7.) We hosted our first hackathon. We broke things. We fixed them faster. We shipped. Grateful for a team that runs on grit, resilience, and an unreasonable amount of passion. FY27, we're coming. 🚀

pretty impressed that @MiniMax_AI 2.7 can one-shot a linear clone in 10 mins at 95% cheaper than claude opus 4.6 not enough people know about this model. if you're just using whatever your timeline is hyping, you're probably overpaying for the same result
