@krzyzanowskim I’d take the 1h on drugs and party rest of the time. Vacation is to let your brain rest, not give it more to process 😜

Question for all my espresso lovers out there: Niche Zero vs Eureka Mignon Single Dose… What would you buy ? I am not interested in filter coffee etc. Just Espresso / Cappuccino matters for me, and I really want a single dose grinder to test different beans easily :)

People of the iOS community still here, are you really still there? I’m finding my timeline so empty and uninteresting. I’m all on the elephant site now.

@appcode So sad to see AppCode go. I’ve been more productive for years thanks to it and will keep using it for as long as it works… Thanks to the team for all the hard work, it’s insane to see such a development powerhouse go away 😥

We are sunsetting AppCode with version 2022.3 released just recently. We'll still provide technical support and bug-fix updates that specifically address compatibility issues with Xcode 14 in 2023. Check out the news: blog.jetbrains.com/appcode/2022/1…

@SmileyKeith @dev_jac I’m so sad. I’ve been using AppCode for years and the range of tools it offers is so vastly superior to Xcode, which made the IDE invaluable to me. Unfortunately most iOS developers favor form over function and speed of coding.

The swiss army knife of IDEs I’ve been using for years and (despite it’s weird UI) still lightyears ahead of Xcode in many areas is going away. It’s a shame they never got a better market share to support development of the product 😭 I’ll keep using it for as long as it works.

With the release of v2022.3, we are sunsetting the AppCode product. We’ll no longer sell new subscriptions or renew existing ones. All active subscriptions will get a fallback to v2022.3. Thank you for being with us! More information: jb.gg/sunset-appcode

I unfortunately can’t make it to the awesome FrenchKit @frenchkitconf that starts in Paris tomorrow. Anyone in the area wants my ticket? It’s a conference you don’t want to miss!

This discussion on Slack I’m having with other iOS devs would indicate that I’m not the only one with a healthy defiance of fancy architectures (Clean, Viper, etc…). Keep it simple, MVC and MVVM will get you a very long way, and without too much boiler plate.

@jesse_squires I can so totally relate with this. If you let work swallow your whole life (looking at you, “weekend projects”) you’re in for a good burnout. Life balance matters more than showing you’re on top of everything! I.e. no work on weekends was the best decisions I made for my sanity
