@fpl_Marsh @LethalSpaghett2 Exactly, the tech was brought in to stop it and failed. This is unprecedented and extremely unfair given no other team had a controversial goal line decision left to whether the ref had seen it or not, as they all relied on goal line technology.

villa have just lost around £100 million. the ability to sign top players. the ability to keep top players. PGMOL and the ref won't face any punishment. #avfc

@alnufc92 @LethalSpaghett2 Balls have crossed the line for decades and goals not been given. Tech has changed that. It’s been introduced to stop these errors. Fwiw I’m glad Newcastle got CL… and can tell you’re trying to make this argument to defend your own team, but it doesn’t make it right

There is nothing subjective about the ball crossing the line and you know it This is the only time in history goal line technology has failed and it kept you in the league undeservedly Try again 👍

@jord996 @alnufc92 @LethalSpaghett2 It was virtually the same situation as today, legitimate goal, unable to be reviewed because of the refs whistle. We lost points that season and yes were fortunate to gain the ones against Sheffield - but you could argue it evened out. What does that have to do with today?

Usually you’re doing body part to body part, don’t recall seeing one against a ball before but the difference could quite literally be the diameter of ball. Don’t like it

Harry Kane ahead of the ball.... 😬 Haven't seen any 3D visualisation version but: "The ball went backwards!" Eric Dier said. The direction a ball is played is irrelevant for offside. The deflection is also not a deliberate play so doesn't reset Kane's offside position.
