@KimCarolC @TVKev @WasStill I’m not the one criticising our PM for not getting involved in a conflict that has no objectives, no plan and no way of mitigating the impacts.
Besides, I will always be ahead of you in the pecking order of combatants.

@ChrisCowlin This sounds very un Spurs like. The club is usually pretty good at keeping things under wraps until it’s very close. I was expecting something this AM. If it might be back end of the week I’d be worried these aren’t as advanced as believed to be and this could still go south
English

"Tottenham are continuing talks with Roberto De Zerbi today. Negotiations are progressing well, and Spurs are hopeful of making an appointment before the players return from international duty. A number of aspects still need to be agreed upon, including the make-up of De Zerbi's backroom staff. The Italian is not yet thought to be in London either - but if a full agreement is made this week, he will be ready to travel to the UK. Spurs want the former Brighton boss to take over permanently after Igor Tudor's exit on Sunday and have offered him a five-year contract." - Sky Sports

@SteveL482749 @MikeyHotspurs Sorry, just re-read that and it did sound a bit angry didn’t it. I stopped being angry about Spurs ages ago 🤣
English

@fpl_del @MikeyHotspurs 🤣🤣sorry Del boy. Id be angry if my team were a sack of shit too

Between 12-4pm tomorrow Roberto De Zerbi will be officially confirmed as the new manager of Tottenham Hotspur
Do i think he will be the manager for longer than Jose Mourinho or Antonio Conte? No
Do I think he will without a shadow of doubt keep us up? 100% yes
One thing we can’t deny him, is he coaches players effectively, gets the best out of them and plays a good brand of football
I keep hearing fans say “we have good players”
Well if this is the case he’s the man to get the best out of them
We are in a desperate situation, staying up is imperative, it’s doe or die and beggars can’t be choosers
Get fully behind him and he will deliver what we all want; survival in the Prem
Worst case scenario he don’t last 5 years and the Lewis Family has to shell out massive amounts of compensation
He’s the best manager we’ve had since Conte
IT’S GOING TO BE FIREWORKS
ENJOY THE RIDE

@GamewithDave Championship Manager was my sole reason for owning a PC in the late 90s / early 2000s
English

@KimCarolC @TVKev @WasStill When can we expect to see you donning your khakis and heading off to the Middle East, Rifle in hand?
English

@delbx3 He wasn't asked. So "refusing" doesn't come into it. Starmer never does anything "very well". Apart from lying.
English

@InvertTheWing Vicario probably not available for his first 2 fixtures anyway. If Kinsky has a nightmare in those 2 fixtures he won’t have a choice. You’d then only be able to tell if he offloads Vicario over the Summer
English

I will know if De Zerbi will be a flop or a success based on his first 3 games, and if he starts Vicario.
Starting Vicario means completely abandoning his philosophy immediately. A philosophy that requires the goalkeeper to be able on the ball, but utilising a keeper that can’t even make simple 2 yard passes to his centre backs.
English

@SteveL482749 @MikeyHotspurs That 1/50 is on the betfair exchange, because someone had left those odds available. Nobody is backing him at 1/50 you clown
English

@MikeyHotspurs Hope so. If he keeps us up it will be a short term appointment. I can see it being 18 months but it will be worth, whatever the cost, it if he keeps us up. I hope they start succession planning straight away though as it could go tits up in 7 games, 6 months or 18 months
English

@_Tobolos_ I was gutted when Fergie passed up the chance to sign Ronaldinho
English

Been watching footy for 25+ years, and the BEST players in the world have never played in the Premier League
From R9 to Dinho to Messi to Mbappe/Yamal
From Zizou to Kaka to Xavi/Iniesta to Pedri/Vitinha
In fact I would say with the exception of prime Henry and CR7, the PL has never had a top 3 player in the world at any given time
Dougie Critchley@DougieCritchley
Unsurprisingly as he works his way back from an ACL injury, Rodri hasn't been at his best this season. But make no mistake about it, losing Rodri, the 2nd Premier League player to win the Ballon D'Or since 2001, to Real Madrid... In the same summer as Salah leaves and within 3 years of Kane and De Bruyne's departures... Would be a yet another sign that the absolute BEST players in the world, are playing outside of England.
English

@FPL_ToffeeTim Had half the season still left to turn it around. Nowhere near the same situation as a 7 game dog fight where relegation is 50/50 at best.
English

@TweetHearts72 @edgaralandough Not for you, someone who seems completely distrusting of their kids and the decisions they have made / could make. But Happy to give a huge chunk of it to income tax 🤣
English

@fpl_del @edgaralandough No. That’s not how it works. You maybe throw them a small amount but I would never give half my wealth away in my mid 50s
English

@MikeyHotspurs Fans definitely don’t want Redknapp and the best thing Ange could have done is stay at Gorest a bit longer
English

ENIC for the first time in 25 years please give the fans what they want, we don’t need to be divided on the new manager, nobody wants De Zerbi or Dyche
Fans want Ange or Redknapp until end of season then Mauricio Pochettino full time. It’s as simple as that
Give the fans a thumbs up and they will applaud you for it
English

@TweetHearts72 @edgaralandough Why not set the wheels in motion on that earlier so they have security that they can plan for and build into their lives, whilst avoiding inheritance tax possible
English

@fpl_del @edgaralandough Being idealistic about things never serves well. I know my children would take care of me. But I don’t want them to do that, helping me bathe and go to the bathroom. I have sons, I don’t want to burden their wives. I will downsize and give them the farm.
English

@TweetHearts72 @edgaralandough I find it a little sad that you think the promise of money is what will make your kids look after you when you are older. I’ve lost my Father and Father in Law this year and I’d have done anything for either of them and I don’t expect a penny from them.
English

@TweetHearts72 @edgaralandough If you’re kids are only caring for you when you are older for the money, they aren’t caring for you.
English

@edgaralandough And leave them absolutely no incentive to care for you when you’re feeble, old and crippled, because you already handed them their inheritance not know you’d live another 30 years. Stupid. Don’t listen to this drivel.
