If God is love, then everything about God must be coherent with love, no fear, no coercion, no violence, no domination. Jesus didn’t come to demand worship, but to reveal what love looks like when it becomes human. This is the framework I’m exploring. Love as structure. Love as freedom. Love as the logic of everything.

If Revelation speaks symbolically, mythologically, and structurally it cannot also be speaking literally. The Euphrates represents life, stability, trade, and civilizational order. Its drying is the image of a world becoming unstable.

Biblical Armageddon prophecy begins to unfold? Satellite data confirms the river Euphrates has lost 140+ cubic km of water since 2003 and may be gone by 2040 Book of Revelation says dry Euphrates opens the way for final battle — Armageddon

It's ironic. Modern Christianity often defends systems Scripture repeatedly interrupted. The Old Testament repeatedly assumes: wealth concentrates, debt compounds, land accumulates, labor becomes trapped, or that systems drift toward permanent hierarchy. And what does it do? It interrupts accumulation through the Sabbath, debt release, Jubilee, gleaning, or land return. It does that not because wealth is evil, but because permanently closed systems destroy communion.

If truth is universal, why do thousands of religions disagree on the most important questions?

Don’t treat someone who disagrees with your theology like they’re an idiot. Perhaps they have different presuppositions than you do. Respectfully inquire and get to the bottom of it. Faithful Christians can disagree in love. ❤️

@shane_pruitt78 The problem is framing repentance against love. Repentance is the movement toward love, toward mercy, truth, forgiveness, and reconciliation. That’s the whole direction of the Gospel.

Cultural JESUS: -Preaches love only. -Gives only health & wealth. -Never says anything controversial. -A nice guy & doesn’t offend. Biblical JESUS: - Preaches love, but also repentance. -Gives salvation. hope & joy. -Warns of sin, wrath & hell. -Hated & despised by the world.

@GodlyAction Technically, Scripture contains many tensions and apparent contradictions. That’s why interpretation exists. Claiming “zero contradictions” sets an impossible standard and becomes very hard to defend.

Unpopular but true: - The Bible has zero contradictions - Christianity is the only true religion - Jesus is the only way to heaven

Jesus never asked us to have flawless on-paper theology. He asked us to have perfect real-world love. As in complete love, not withheld from those we’ve decided are unfit to receive grace.

Good points. Those are clearly perversions of doctrine and in general my point was made not to undermine the importance of doctrine, but to simply discuss the bare minimum for the definition of a Christian. A lot of these progressive Christians say they believe but they are lying. I can’t check their heart so they could fool me when they say they believe, but the can’t fool Him. But even in the case of one of these who truly believes and accepts Jesus. When they believe all the other nonsense, to me it makes them wrong doctrinaly. They would be Christians who have been confused by the devil himself. The danger of requiring exact doctrines for the definition is that Carholics will say you are not a a Christian either Andrew, and will use doctrine to justify this, such as lack of papal submission. I would disgree with them and say that you are indeed Christian, papal submission or not.

Since I publicly said I’m going to raise my child Christian, people have been leaving comments that look like this. Make sure he is protestant, Catholics aren’t Christians. Make sure he is Catholic, only Catholics are Christians. And every other flavor. I’m gonna say it bluntly. If you believe Jesus is God and you believe He was resurrected, you’re a Christian. I don’t care which version. Still fits the definition. The doctrinal differences on everything else could make you right or wrong on doctrine, but you are still a Christian no matter if Orthodox, Catholic and ALL the rest. The idea of denominational exclusivity whereby ONLY your single version makes you a Christian is SATANIC and of the Devil. He wants to push people away from considering themselves Christians. The Lord wants us all to come to Him. I’m NOT willing to change my mind on this view.

@DanielvsBabylon Let’s not isolate sexuality as if it stands alone. It sits alongside pain, struggle, even death, all part of a world that Scripture itself calls broken.

@wild_branch @JustinBerkobien Yes, and that’s my point. “Whoever loves knows God” (1 John 4) and “what you did for others, you did for me” (Matt 25). That makes love not just the result, but part of how we come to know Him.

@frameworklove @JustinBerkobien Right, but look at the verses just before that in Matthew 7. The only way to truly love is to know Christ. We can not do it until we first search and knock on the door. Then we produce the fruit. This is a mistake many seekers make in that they feel they need to come to Christ…

Preparing to facilitate an honor walk for a deceased patient who is donating their organs. A sobering moment reminding me that many people are fundamentally good and will go great lengths to love even strangers. May God grant them and their family peace.

@wild_branch @JustinBerkobien “By their fruit you will know them” (Matt 7:16) and Matthew 25, we can see judgment based on how we loved. That’s why I see love as more than downstream.

If all Bibles were destroyed, their stories wouldn’t return the same after a thousand years. But if all science and history books were destroyed, the same facts would reappear because they can be tested and verified repeatedly.

@banks_neche I disagree with the chart. But when it comes to children, higher cognition takes time to develop. Obedience protects. It’s a matter of survival.
