This’s Damilola. I met her through a hookup, and she came over to my place because I had already booked a flight for us.
We ended up sleeping together, and I expected her to leave the next day. But she didn’t. It’s been three days now, and she’s still at my house.
What surprised me is how she’s been acting. She cooks, washes my clothes, and helps with house chores without me even asking. It’s not what I expected at all, and it’s starting to get to me.

Today is Friday in the good old days we would go to Tribeka,Scratch or go to club RnB in Westlands then go to Space or Jiwekee along Ngong Road, right now Nigerians have taken over this city. The club and party culture is dead, you may think you’re in noisy Lagos. Yahoo boys have captured our entertainment scenes the flow of music used to be RnB/hiphop,bongo,locals,riddim rhumba etc. Now we have the inept MCs making noise to entertain Yahoo boys and the club owners have embraced these people to wash their money in these clubs. You will go to a club noise all over, cheap hoes, fake alcohol and now the overrated “rich” Nigerians and scammers entertaining broke women with Doremi nonsense.
I can’t find a sweet rhumba spot in this city now I am forced to find chilled afrohouse/piano but the rest is just noise!
The entertainment industry is dead because we’ve allowed it to be infiltrated by Nigerians and low IQ “sharp” boys.
Can you imagine you’ll be more entertained at that small club in Narok or Kericho than the nonsense we have here in Nairobi?
It’s very hard being a millennial right now in this overrated city,I miss Bungoma😂

Mbavu the Destroyer, who had been beating his chest like a malfunctioning drum finally stepped into the ring only to get his software updated by force. My guy promised total destruction, but instead received a technical knockout so clean he started seeing marudurudu, birds of ngethé, and possibly his ancestors waving at him from VIP seats.
Meanwhile, Majembe had been quietly in camp, lifting weights and minding his business like a man preparing for war. Mbavu, on the other hand, was busy shooting skits, dropping hot takes, and conducting full-time BBL investigations on Majembe’s Sundus.
After receiving thorough beating, the content creator had to lay down complaining that Majembe had invaded his family territory where the instruments of power are located. Anasema amegongwa makagare, but the ref asked him kama makagare yake iko located kwa kahasho. Ni mbaya ayaaam telling you.😂

Had a conversation with a man today at the gym and he asked if I was dating anyone. I said yes. He said he wanna take me on a date. I said idk cause I’m already talking to someone. He said but you single. Then proceeded to ask what made this relationship with the man I talk to now feel worthy of exclusivity? What has he done and what we do?

Dear @KEMRI_Kenya
I have a few questions regarding your recently announced Ksh516 million ($4M) grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for the Leadership & Excellence in African Women’s Health (LEA-WH) programme.
Transparency matters especially when foreign funding intersects with women’s health, patents, and data.
1️⃣ Who will own the patents, medical products, and startups developed under this programme? Will intellectual property belong to Kenyan institutions, individual researchers, or the Gates Foundation?
2️⃣ Where will women’s health data and biospecimens collected through this research be stored , in Kenya or abroad? Who will have access to it, and under what data protection laws?
3️⃣ You mention “up to 10 medical products” and “5-10 patents” by 2033. How does a three-year, $4M grant deliver decade-long commercial outcomes? What mechanisms ensure accountability once the funding ends in 2029?
4️⃣ Who determines research priorities and funding approvals , a Kenyan-led board or the Gated Foundation’s offices ?
Please publish the governance structure and decision-making process.
5️⃣ The project will “work closely with the US National Academy of Medicine.” Why not with the African Academy of Sciences, which is based here in Nairobi?
6️⃣ Will the products developed be manufactured and priced locally to ensure accessibility for African women? Are there binding commitments to non-exclusive licenses and affordable pricing across Africa?
7️⃣ You mention a “continental alumni network” and “innovation policy ecosystem.” Who will fund and control these platforms once the grant ends , KEMRI, the Kenyan government, or external partners?
8️⃣ What percentage of the Ksh516M actually reaches local scientists and facilities, and how much goes to administrative overhead, consultants, and international collaborations?
9️⃣ Has the grant agreement, IP policy, or data governance framework been shared with Parliament, or made public? If not, why?
Thank you.
