Why do American leftists talk like this? Public transit here has gotten worse and worse and if you call it a problem a leftist will come out of nowhere telling you that you’re whiny and soft. I refuse to accept people peeing on the floor next to people just trying to go to work!

i’ve been on the subway with homeless people that peed, screamed, all sorts of stuff. it was mildly uncomfortable but truly didn’t impact my day in any way. maybe your husband needs to toughen up

@TomLasby @nienna121 After institutions were closed, government put laws into place to prevent it from happening again which prevent us from insitutionalizing people en mass. In part due to the fact it didn't work. People didnt get better. They suffered horribly until they died horribly.

agree that this probably isn’t the single most traumatizing thing someone could see in a city but it’s still not normal or OK and the left shouldn’t act like it is. we all deserve to live in functioning cities where public displays of anti social behavior are not tolerated

@franfrommn @prinkasusa I do. Keep the language as it is. Everyone menstruating,pregnant,breastfeeding, etc KNOWS they are female. Individuals can request the specific language they are comfortable with from their health support workers.
