Here’s a practical way to discover your specialization. Look at the last 3 production bugs that genuinely scared you. The ones where something broke, and you didn’t fully understand why until hours later. Your specialization probably lives close to that fear. The systems confusing you most are usually the systems worth mastering. That confusion is often the edge of real depth.
