@frank_pytPS Ah.... You're lucky it was only the radiator that got damaged and not head gasket

@daemperor007 @malantrent @daemperor let me add to your prayers
May @malantrent mistake sugar for salt when cooking soup.
When @malantrent spreads clothes to dry, may him/her and neighbours not be around when a heavy/windy rain falls and sweeps the clothes into mud
English

@malantrent Yah lateef!
1. Let his original laptop charger blow when he is about to do a presentation.
2. Let his fuel finish mysteriously while driving on d express at least 40km from the nearest filling station.
3. Let him mistakenly transfer 10m instead of 10k
I legit sat to read this

I raise you Nupe people…
More than a decade ago we went to Kwara State, to a small Nupe village there for a wedding. My grandma was living in that village… and from the moment we arrived, you could tell life there followed rules nobody really explained. You don’t announce when you’re coming, you don’t announce when you’re on the road, and you don’t even really announce when you’re leaving because something bad might happen to you.
My grandma wasn’t warm to us in public at all, always frowning, always shouting at us whenever people were around. But in private, she showed love in her own quiet way. If she openly showed too much affection again, something bad would happen to us. So she constantly warned us, like even joy itself was something dangerous in that place. She used to say if you act too happy, something terrible might follow.
One day, something happened that I still can’t fully explain if I wasn’t there…

Do witches really fly like they’re portrayed in movies, Do they even exist?

@frank_pytPS @agirlinlaw Very mindful, very demure.
No matter the culture or status of the recipient, you can't go wrong with this.
English

@menzekh @agirlinlaw I actually use 'Dear Title/Name' for everyone. It doesn't hurt.

While I understand this take, I'd seen them Chevrolets in Bauchi (lots of them) back in 2011. As at the time, I'd never seen any city in Nigeria with that many Chevrolets.

Some people still think BMW came to play 🙄
English

This picture perfectly explains my friendship with a Mercedes-Benz guy, We look the same outside, Same level, Same lifestyle, but driving with him showed me the truth.
Anytime we go out, I'm in my BMW, he's in his Mercedes-Benz, Side by side like this, but the moment traffic clears, something always happens, i move, he adjusts.
I take corners, overtake, enjoy the drive, he's just managing the car, that's when I realized we're not the same, we just look the same when we're parked. Mercedes-Benz friendships are like that, everything looks equal, until it's time to actually perform, Some people are your level in pictures…Not on the road.

@JewelMansy @papshine_t Very valid take! That marriage will never be the same again, and this may just be the beginning of the end.
Now the peace is up in flames over this 'opportunity', whether the man or the wife goes, or even none at all, the marriage is badly bruised already.
God help them 🙏
English

Either way the marriage don cast. None of them should go. Why?
1. If the woman goes, the marriage is over. She's going to experience a world which says men are replaceable. Her husband back home will feel insecure and let down that he didn't get to go. These feelings will clash and the next thing, divorce.
2. If the man goes, the wife is going to feel hurt. It's her brother after all, so why should her husband go and not her? Everything he says and does will be measured on a gratitude scale. She'll always remind him of the great "sacrifice" she made by agreeing for him to go. His ego will be bruised. More fights = divorce
English

My neighbour and his family came back from church today.
I greeted them.
Nobody answered.
Few minutes later, he called me...
"Abeg, meet me for junction. I need advice."
When we met, he said his wife’s brother in the US offered to help one of them relocate.
If the wife goes, she’ll earn 20% more.
If the husband goes, less money.
Now problem started.
Wife said:
"Let me go. Better pay and I’ll support us."
Husband said:
"No. I’m the man. I should go and provide. You stay with the children."
They have 3 kids.
Only one week to decide.
Now the love in the house has turned to debate.
He looked at me and asked...
"Guy… who suppose go?"

@OFFICIALJOTEK @OFFICIALJOTEK fantastic work ✅
My heart goes out to the ignorant person that this will be sold to as '2025 land cruiser'.
What info will the VIN carry?
What makes the vehicle a 2025 model isn't just the body & interior, it includes the powertrain, drivetrain, ECU/PCM, etc
English

@Gideon1762779 @Otunbakush1 This is good info.
Just to be sure...You know gear oil is different from engine oil, yeah?
We typically don't change gear oil as often as engine oil. Only putting this out so we're sure of what has been done.
Also check the gear oil dipstick to be sure the oil level is Ok
English

@menzekh @Otunbakush1 I did general servicing and gear oil was changed
English

This was a bill mechanic sent to one of my client when the driver said the gear jerk while on speed, mind u, it was a tokunbo car i sourced and delivered, owner was ready to go ahead cos mechanic said the gear is bad, told them to bring the car over, diagnosed it, waited till midnight when road it free to Pedal it down very well, all was needed was just alignment 12k wheel balancing and alignment, and they wanted to replaced transmission.

CJ@CJ7856022763864
Mechanics are one of the well known YAHOO MEN but we never ready and we all tag it hard work and being responsible and sometimes call it (work chop) One of my barrister friend called his “regular” mechanic to come check his car at home since the car doesn’t want to start. This

Lastly @Gideon1762779
There's an online forum where you can also search for issues regarding your Sienna. There's no issue you'll have that someone else hasn't experienced or mentioned on the forum.

Look forward to your feedback on the issue. Cheers

I'm hoping you have a scanner, or can go somewhere where they'll scan your vehicle.
You may see one or a combo of these error Codes: P0717/P0792/P0793.
Replace the failing sensor(s) and you'll be fine.
This is what the sensors look like.

English

@Gideon1762779 @Otunbakush1 2/
I trust you know how to do this. If the oil is black, then it's due for change. If the oil level is low then you need to investigate and fix the leakage.
After replacing the gear oil, if the car drives fine, then problem solved. If not, then you'll need to scan your vehicle..
