@Jonathansams7 @TGC Thanks for the article. It seems that the church mimics the general culture’s need to always ‘do more’ rather than sit in a subject, study, get in community, dive in to Scripture etc. AI simply feeds our perceived need to always do more versus doing better.
English

Honored to have an article published by @TGC. A big bucket-list item for me.
I wrote on why the danger of AI isn't only misinformation, but mis-formation, and how AI can quietly shape attention, expectations, and dependence in the life of the church.
English

@TGC @Jonathansams7 I appreciate your points from your article. Does it seem that this desire to ‘get an answer’ is first driven by the general culture, which church culture then follows with too great of ease, to always be moving and never sitting in something for a time to learn?
English

The spiritual danger of AI is that it might condition us to take shortcuts in the means God uses to form disciples. Here are three ways this can quietly compete with biblical spirituality.

You didn’t give a shit about the President of the United States of America posting an ape video of President Obama or calling African nations shitholes — but you’re going to call me racist for talking about my lifelong struggle with dyslexia?
Spare me your fake fucking outrage, Sean.

@GochuBlot @asukagrypr $500 million company? Proof of that? 2024 IRS Form 990 shows $85 million.
English

@asukagrypr Will mention this in every Kirk thread til it resonates. Her abandoning the kids to run a $500million company runs totally contrary to Kirk’s beliefs. How can she ever dedicate the appropriate time to both? This looks more and more like a political assassination indeed.

@RealMetsFanClub This saddened me to no end. I think having Zeile there hurt because Cohen may have been reaching for talking points but to go there, especially after he took a day himself earlier this year because his dog died? Bad look for a great announcer.
English

Since I’m in a bad mood …. Gary Cohen has amassed many “W’”s broadcasting Mets games, but an “L” like this discounts almost all of them. Was I the only one to cringe the moment I heard him say this nonsense?!?
Kaitlin Bennett@KaitMarieox
New York Mets broadcaster Gary Cohen, who missed a game earlier this year when his dog died, calls it "weird" that a Cubs player missed a game to attend Charlie Kirk's funeral. The player was literally INVITED there by Erika Kirk. Will @SNYtv and the @Mets apologize?
English

@Ms_DenitaQ @SteveGuest She had to spread the good news of CNN. Singularly focused on misinforming those looking to be misinformed.
English

@SteveGuest Kaitlan held her own. It's impressive how she doesn't allow herself to be intimidated by aggressive confrontation!

WATCH:
CNN's Kaitlan Collins on the Charlie Kirk assassination: "We don't have a motive yet. We don't know yet. We're waiting..."
Sen. Ted Cruz: "Of course we know. Come one. 'We don't have a motive yet. We know we don't have a motive yet.' Really, that's CNN's position? He happened to fire the gun in celebration?!"
