Let me put it this way.
Iran knows the US cannot afford to lose the war in the middle east and will keep reinforcing its positions with fuel and ammunition.
So it's going to set the temperature on medium and keep the tempo like this, targeting all of its supplies, forcing it to resupply. The US cannot manufacture the ammunition faster than it either uses them if they end up making it to the front line, or until Iran destroys them.
No ammunition means all of the US's power goes to zero, not just in the middle, but as a consequence of this open wound, worldwide.
The Iranians aren't just coming after the US presence in the middle east, it's coming after the entire US empire and its plan is working. The US will die this year if this war doesn't end soon, because countries like China and Russia will calculate a very high probability of victory should they go to war with it.
So the only way out is a nuclear attack on Iran. But Iran already has plans for that as well.
