@drmikehart Nope sorry It actually means people are watching exactly what he does and what he says and who he is visiting We do not need the media to interpret that

Would Pierre Poilievre win an election today? Probably not. Doesn't make him a bad leader. It means many Canadians are still influenced by government-funded media such as the CBC.

@SylviaJonesMPP My grandson has been nearly 2 yrs on a waiting list to see an ENT for adenoid problems. A 30 minute surgery would solve all his problems. He’s nowhere near seeing anyone as there are 5,000 kids waiting also! A few years ago you’d see someone in months!! Shame on u

It is interesting to see this "battle plan" narrative being used to describe standard democratic processes. When you look at the actual laws and parliamentary mechanics, the idea of a "sneaky majority" for PM @MarkCarney does not really hold up to scrutiny. As a fact-checker (doing my best), I think it is important to separate fundraising rhetoric from the reality of how our democracy functions. 👉 First, these by-elections on April 13 are not a tactical "choice" or a trick by the Prime Minister. Under the Parliament of Canada Act, the government is legally required to call a vote to fill vacant seats. In the case of Terrebonne, the Supreme Court actually ordered the vote in February because of errors in the last general election. Labeling a legally mandated election as a "sneak attack" is fundamentally misleading. It is simply the basic process of keeping Parliament functional. 👉 The irony here lies in what the Opposition is not doing. While we hear phrases like "dirty backroom deals," "seizing a majority voters rejected," and "manipulation and engineering" from @CPC_HQ, these are rhetorical labels for the legal process of floor-crossing. If @PierrePoilievre truly believes there is actual bribery or corruption, the Opposition has a clear constitutional duty: move a motion of non-confidence. ‼️ We saw those motions repeatedly in 2024 when the Conservatives were leading the polls. The fact that they have gone quiet now likely has more to do with the data. As the chart below shows, the landscape has shifted (we all know that). With latest 338Canada averages putting the @liberal_party at 46% and @CPC_HQ at 36%, triggering an election today would likely result in the very majority the Opposition claims to fear. 👉 Even the claims (of this quoted post) about being "fined for a book" need a reality check. Federal Court of Appeal records from January 10, 2025, confirm the $3,000 fine was not about censorship of The Libranos. It was for failing to register as a third party and for putting up campaign lawn signs without the legally required disclosure tags. Using a routine fine for breaking signage laws to claim "persecution" is a common fundraising tactic, but it is not the factual reality. 🇨🇦 So, my fellow Canadians, in our system, the judges are the voters as we all know (because we are these judges). Instead of fabricating "evil tactical plans" claims, the Opposition and influencers should cut the noise and use their actual constitutional tools. In a democracy, the vote is the ultimate trial. Everything else is just noise.

🚨 BY-ELECTION BATTLE PLAN: Join my third party campaign group to fight Mark Carney! I want to warn voters in these by-elections about what would happen if Carney is able to sneak his way to a majority. It’s official: Mark Carney has called three by-elections for April 13th — two in Toronto and one near Montreal. He hopes to get a majority government, so he can ram through whatever he wants. By the way, that includes new censorship laws. As you know, Carney has been bribing Conservative and NDP Members of Parliament to cross the floor to become Liberals, so he’s almost there. I want to warn voters in these by-elections about what would happen if Carney is able to sneak his way to a majority. But I’ve been told by Elections Canada: if we broadcast that message to the voters in these ridings we could be charged with illegal campaigning. They won’t stop the Chinese Communist Party from interfering, but they’ve threatened to charge us. They did it to me before — a few years ago I wrote a book called The Libranos, where I exposed Trudeau’s corruption. There were 24 books about Trudeau in that election, but mine was the only one investigated by the government. They literally fined me thousands of dollars. I don’t want that to happen again. So here’s my plan: we’ll make lemons into lemonade. And we will register, what they call a “third party campaign group”. Not a political party, but the term “third party” is what Elections Canada calls an independent group that’s allowed to raise and spend money in these byelections. And do things like roll out our big beautiful billboard truck. We tried this in the last federal election and it worked great! So we registered today for the by-elections. The name of the third party group is ForCanada. You can see the website at ForCanada.ca. I chipped in the first $250. We’re going to campaign in the two English-speaking ridings, Scarborough Southwest, where Bill Blair is leaving, and University-Rosedale, where Chrystia Freeland is leaving. Now look, these are safe Liberal seats, so it’s going to be an uphill battle. But we’ve got to try. And you never know — in the last election, Rebel News campaigned with our truck against two awful Liberal MPs — Ya’ara Saks in North York and Majid Jowhari in Richmond Hill, and they both lost! So it’s possible. By registering my third party group with Elections Canada, I can raise and spend over $5,000 in each riding. That’s enough to send in the truck and do some hard-hitting video ads. And the amazing thing about a third party campaign, I’ve discovered, is that unlike political parties, there is no limit on how much people can donate to it. In fact, if you’ve already maxed out your gift to a political party, you can still contribute to a third party campaign, like ours at ForCanada.ca. I have no interest in simply repeating Pierre Poilievre’s messages: I plan to use our third party group to go further and harder than anything the Conservatives would do, including talking about things like mass immigration, which is out of control, and about Mark Carney’s bizarre support for Iran and Palestine. And calling out the Liberal gun grab, and transgender madness, a topic the Conservatives won’t touch. Let’s join the battle! And if we happen to raise more than we need, we’re allowed to use it after the by-election, to spend it then — and I promise you we will. I’ve made the first donation. @ezralevant

Totally fair if you held since 2022. But that's not what Pierre was selling. His pitch in March 2022 was specific: ditch the CAD, "opt out of inflation" with Bitcoin. Not an investment play, an inflation hedge. A safer store of value than your dollar. So let's read the chart from that lens. You follow Pierre's advice in March 2022. By November 2022 you're down 40% while CAD inflation that year was around 6-8%. The very thing he said Bitcoin would protect you from, it made dramatically worse. And if you take the full year low, the real drop was closer to 63%. "But they made profit if they held" maybe. But that's a different pitch. Pierre wasn't saying invest in Bitcoin. He was saying trust Bitcoin more than your own currency. That's a very specific claim with a very specific failure window. And to wrap up, he's now put those ideas in hibernation. I won't paste the full thread again, just give it a second read. 😉

PIERRE CRUSHED IT ON JOE ROGAN: -He defended Canada against 51st state comments -He was very charming -He REFUSED TO CRITICIZE CARNEY on foreign soil -He rightfully so, defended that Castro is not Trudeau’s father -He respectfully & tactfully didn’t fall into conspiracy theory traps -He did a beautiful job explaining his role as the Opposition & how keeping the government to account is the most loyal thing one can do Joe Rogan showed a great deal of respect for him, his intelligence & they both laughed hysterically when Joe asked him “How did you lose?!” People don’t realize, that as much as Joe Rogan is painted as “far right”, he’s logical and I consider him well balanced. There’s a reason why he has the biggest podcast in the world. Pierre did an incredible job.
