A really concerning sight in Corsham today — as a man is spotted walking a dog in 32°C heat. 🥵🐶 With temperatures soaring this afternoon, locals were left worried after seeing a dog being exercised during the hottest part of the day — at around 2.30pm. The RSPCA warns that dogs are ten times more likely to suffer heat-related illness from exercising in hot weather than from being left in a hot car. The charity urges owners to avoid walks during the hottest hours, stick to early mornings or late evenings, ensure dogs have plenty of water and shade, and check the ground temperature before heading out. If it’s too hot for the back of your hand, it’s too hot for their paws. Thankfully, as the RSPCA says, no dog ever died from missing a walk. If it’s 32°C outside, the safest place for most dogs is at home keeping cool. ☀️💧🐾 #dog #dogs #animallover #animalrescue #heatwave

@TUIUK I have just found an email in junk changing my flights & they are now in 2 different terminals - this is not what I booked as I can’t park car in 2 different places. Yr team told me I can amend but have to pay . Why should I be out of pocket when I booked same terminal?

DOG OWNERS . A dog will not die missing some walks but it can from heatstroke. Also NEVER leave yr dog in a car even with windows open. If you see a dog in a car overheating call 999 & take photos. 22degrees outside inside a car can be 47degrees in an hour #doglovers #dogowners

Jeremy Clarkson has revealed in the latest episode of Clarkson’s Farm that he has prostate cancer. He says it has been caught “really early” and that he had 10% of his prostate removed. In the Amazon Prime series he is seen telling his Kaleb Cooper about the diagnosis with his sidekick tearfully saying; “I don’t like this.” Clarkson replies; “ I’m not thrilled either.” The good news is that thanks to the early diagnosis Clarkson will be around for years to come. One of the great TV and writing talents has been required viewing for decades and even saved Who Wants to be A Millionaire.
