@yonkojohn Trump signed on to the current duty-free quota for imported dairy products in 2018. He has repeatedly stated that he wants no imported steel and no Canadian cars. And U.S. dairy production is estimated to benefit from a 30 % federal subsidy, resulting in over-production.

@yonkojohn Wrong. Trump believes in re-shoring manufacturing to the U.S. That means, as he has said on several occasions, no more Canadian cars. And Trump signed an agreement in 2018 that set the current duty-free dairy quota for U.S. dairy products. And they have sugar cane quotas.
