@funnelcakezzz if they were so worried about messing up her dialogue for some reason then maybe they should just get a beta reader?? idk what else to tell them, they need to learn how to write black characters 😭😭

Saw a WHITE author say they would not write for prism because they “didn’t want to mess up her dialogue” as if she doesn’t speak like everyone else.
Like that actually irritated me because what do you even mean.

Putting my whole brain power into writing this fic once again with no pronounce or anything so the GAYS AND THE GALS (and everything inbetween) can read and enjoy them.

its not even just the writing part that gets easier, its also so helpful to have someone to brainstorm with & vent to when ur stuck on something. and it keeps you motivated to write bc youre not just going through the whole process on your own anymore

writing fanfiction is so much easier when you have a good beta reader but it’s so hard to find someone who’s able do it and also into the same tropes/characters you are

@AllisonElla9 ohh i’ll be waiting for it 😋 i’ve really wanted to get away from docs but it’s my beta reader so i go from docs to scrivener to docs then to ao3 🤦♀️🤦♀️i hateeee editing. it’s easily the most annoying part of writing.
