H.E. President @WilliamsRuto has arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, for the Second United Nations Food Systems Summit Stocktake (UNFSS+4). He was received by Ethiopia’s Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh. President Ruto will deliver Kenya's national statement on our commitment to transforming food systems to drive sustainable development and strengthen climate resilience. He will also participate in a series of high-level thematic meetings with global leaders, development partners, and private sector stakeholders. On his visit, the President is also scheduled to hold bilateral talks with several leaders, including Ethiopian Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and African Union Commission Chairperson Mahamoud Ali Youssouf, among others.

This morning, I had the pleasure of hosting @HonOscarSudi , Member of Parliament for Kapseret, who paid me a courtesy call at the Ministry headquarters. Our meeting was cordial and constructive, focusing on collaborative efforts to expand digital opportunities for young people in his Constituency and across the country. We discussed core areas such as digital skilling for the youth and the rollout of Digital Hubs, which are at the heart of our Ministry’s strategy to bridge the digital divide and unlock economic potential at the grassroots level. Hon. Sudi expressed a strong interest in partnering with us to ensure Kapseret is part of this digital transformative journey. I commend the MP’s proactive approach and commitment to empowering his Constituents through technology. Together, we are building a digitally inclusive Kenya.
