CAF faces pressure as Guinea contests Morocco’s 1976 AFCON win
The Guinea Football Federation has urged the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to review the 1976 AFCON outcome, citing Morocco’s walkout and a recent ruling against Senegal.
The call follows CAF’s decision to overturn the 2025 AFCON result as a sanction on Senegal for a walkout, despite winning on the pitch.

Today is Sallah celebration. Notice that no pastor is preaching against it. Christians are not condemning it as pagan celebration, and Christians are not telling people to avoid eating sallah food. Christians are not telling people not to say happy sallah.
Wait till Easter or Christmas, and you see Muslims all over the place condemning it. Imams will openly preach against it.
Christianity is indeed love.

Court Upholds Nigerians’ Right to Film Police on Duty, Awards N7m D@mages for Rights Violation
The Federal High Court sitting in Warri, Delta State, has delivered a landmark ruling affirming that Nigerians have the constitutional right to record police officers while they carry out their duties in public.
Delivering judgment on Tuesday in suit number FHC/WR/CS/87/2025, Justice H. A. Nganjiwa held that police officers must wear visible name tags, display their force numbers, and must not harass, intimidate, arrest, or seize devices from citizens documenting their activities.
The court also awarded the applicant, Maxwell Uwaifo, N5 million in d@mages for the violation of his fundamental rights, alongside N2 million to cover litigation costs.
By granting all the reliefs sought, the court reinforced the right of Nigerians to freely document police actions in public spaces without fear of intimidation or retaliation.
Reacting to the ruling, Mr Uwaifo described the judgment as a major step forward for accountability.
“This judgement has significant implications for policing standards, civil liberties, and public accountability across Nigeria,” he said in a statement shared with newsmen on Tuesday.
“The court made far-reaching pronouncements on police accountability and citizens’ constitutional rights.”

@bod_repuplic Why will you use a boy in Anambra coz I've read this story somewhere and it doesn't happen in an African setting @bod_repuplic 🤷
Quote me wrong if I am ✌️

In Anambra, a 15 year old boy was arrested for stealing bread and coke.
When he was presented in court, the judge asked him why he stole.
Tears filled the boy’s eyes, and he said that his mother was seriously ill.
He himself was hungry, and he didn’t even have enough money to buy food.
Hearing this, the judge became emotional. Instead of punishing the boy, he turned to everyone present in the courtroom and said:
If a child in our society is forced to steal food just to survive, then the criminal is not him, it is all of us.
The judge fined every person present in the courtroom 10k for allowing such a situation to arise.
He also fined the shopkeeper 50k for not helping a hungry child.
All the collected money was given to the boy, and he was allowed to leave without any punishment.

You sack Thomas Tuchel who has just won the Champions league for the club, replaced him with “Graham Potter” who shouldn’t even be coaching high school kids.
You sack Enzo Maresca who has just won the club World Cup less than 6 months ago, replaced him by a Tech bro named Rosenior
Clearlake, are you not mad???

Abuja, Nigeria – Joseph Phillip Nanmwa a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member Popularly called E-MONEY from Langtang North Local government area of Plateau State, has reportedly been held for over 65 days by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) without being charged.
Phillip, who was teaching Mathematics and Physics at the International Model Science Academy in Abuja, was arrested after organising private coaching lessons for students preparing for scholarship exams, a move the school owner claimed was unauthorized.
A fellow detainee, Chimezie Otuojor, revealed that NSCDC officials demanded ₦1.3 million plus ₦120,000 “commandant’s charge” as a condition for his release. Phillip’s health is said to be deteriorating, and he reportedly lacks adequate food.
Otuojor also alleged that similar unlawful detentions and extortion occur regularly at the FCT NSCDC command, with detainees pressured to pay millions to secure freedom.
Efforts to obtain comments from the NSCDC have so far been unsuccessful. The appropriate authorities should please look into this and allow this Plateau indigene to regain his freedom.

🗣️🇫🇷 Eric Cantona: “I propose an international law that would force any president who decides to declare war to be the first to go to the front line.
They sit in their offices and send 18-year-olds to die… Personally, none of my children will go to war. Why should they go, and for whom?” 👏👏👏

Married women, please, I’m begging you in God’s name, no matter the disagreements and quarrels you’re having with your husband, never pack your things and leave the house.
Especially when your husband never asked you to leave.
You won’t like the results.
Avoid that temptation to always want to show how angry you are by leaving so that your husband will come and beg you.
Marriage isn’t Telemundo.
Shalom!
