@beachcomber50 @Biffa @SomersetCouncil If i do take them home, i can bring them to the recycle center. If the tap is still on, i have to dump them as chemical waste, if the tap is removed, i can throw them in the container with other iron-stuff.

Counsel doesn't come to get them if you take them home for collection, so nowadays i just leave them lying around. Sometimes, i warn municipality, mostly i don't.

#litterpickers I’m wondering how you deal with these if you find them? Our local @Biffa recycling centre charge £9.60 for taking them and @SomersetCouncil say it’s dangerous to remove them and should report as fly tipping! We’re trying to keep our countryside litter free.

@EBS023 Dank namens deze fietser. Hier hetzelfde, gisteren wezen hardlopen en onderweg afval geraapt, daarbij niet alles kunnen rapen, maar ik stop altijd voor een aantal zaken: statiegeldblikjes/flesjes, piepschuim en glaswerk (die beide 2 inderdaad om erger te voorkomen).

My theory: Picking litter helps, but we are producing much more litter nowadays, so we can't keep up. If more people would join, the problem would be gone.

Meneer Jans, denkt u, dat die boer die stal graag in de fik zag vliegen? Ik neem aan dat die boer liever had gezien dat zijn stal er nog stond met zijn geiten in leven.
