We actually don’t care how much losses they make cos it’s been like this sinceeeeeeee BOG always make losses lol.
Yes there’s been some profits in the past but those were peanuts as compared to the losses. Like in 2019, 2020 and 2021 where they recorded profits of 1.8m, 1.57m and 1.24m cedis respectively. These were nothing compared to the gargantuan loss they made in 2022 (60 Billion+ cedis)
What we care about as citizens is the inflation and if inflation is low for the ordinary Ghanaian to benefit, we’re good. Past gov equally made huge losses and inflation never favored us in any way.
Whether BOG has paid influencers to post about their agendas for them or not that’s none of my business. Personally I’ve realized people aren’t complaining much about the losses cos generally things are better than before 🤝

Based on the Bank of Ghana’s massive losses and the artificial props used to stabilize the cedi, the uncomfortable truth is that, the country is likely heading into a period of difficulty. Not necessarily a full-blown crisis, but a painful adjustment.

Beno, you were indeed experiencing outages before the fire outbreak and it is because of transformer replacement and upgrade works so definitely there will light outage.
Moment where transmitter is overloaded, there will be an outage and it is the reason why the upgrade is ongoing.
