@chibuzo_mikel @EngrAdau What's your point? Or you didn't read the caption of what Obi said? Did it specify if it is government revenue? Or who is the government? Isn't it you and I? If the revenue benefits us, how is that not a win?

Whether you categorise NNPCL remittance as profit or tax, the key thing is that it GOES INTO THE FEDERATION ACCOUNT as public funds that is used by the various tiers of government to fund their activities. The so-called export earnings in Bangladesh from their garment industry is not direct government revenue but gross revenue from thousands of textile companies who then go ahead to deduct costs before arriving at their profits, which their government then taxes. In the end, the Bangladeshi government gets less than 2 billion dollars as revenue from the textile industry. This is huge and helps their GDP and employment levels definitely but you cannot equate it to oil revenues into Nigeria's federation account. That's the point.

😂😂😂😂 If it was when I was 18 years old, I may have believed this kind of statement. But today, I analyse everything (and that's why I am always getting people angry 😂😂) and frankly speaking this kind of statement (whether it comes from Peter Obi, Atiku or Tinubu himself) is very unrealistic and I'll tell you why. In 2025, NNPCL remitted N14.7 trillion into the federation account for sharing by the three tiers of government while NUPRC remitted N8.5 trillion. That means a total of N23.2 trillion REVENUE came from oil out of the N35 trillion inflows into the federation account in 2025. Mind you, the N23.2 trillion is not the total amount earned from crude oil sales, it's the portion of it that flows into the federation account after the oil companies must have made necessary cost deductions and taken their profit. So, when you talk about REVENUE for Nigeria, you're talking about the money that will enter into the public purse. So, I wonder how on earth Aba shoe and garment industry will generate N23.2 trillion (around $17 billion) in tax revenue for Nigeria annually! For context, the GDP of Abia in 2023 is under N4 trillion (less than $3 billion). GDP o, not revenue. So, when we make statements, let's tone down on the unrealistic projections please. I like facing reality. Happy Palm 🌴 Sunday

@chibuzo_mikel @EngrAdau And who owns NNPC? Or where did you see NNPC profit being categorised as tax? Is it not from Export that NNPC makes the revenue?? Abi?? E wa gba mi ni, Dr. Akingbile

Now let me teach you more analysis.. Export earnings doesn't automatically mean revenue to the govt. In my analysis I gave you the amount of actual revenue from oil into the federation account. In your own, you're fixated on EARNINGS by the entire industry, which includes cost of production, labour, logistics and profit of the companies. In Bangladesh, the government doesn't earn up to $2 billion from the textile industry as revenue. So, how do you plan to make Aba garment and shoe industry or even the entire textile industry in Nigeria to rake in more than $17 billion in revenue for the federation account annually? Can you now see that analysis may appear simple but you just need to think critically otherwise you'll confuse yourself.

Is there any laws against it or the laws you formed in your unfortunate heads? You think i am your average Joe, like the Afolayan guy who came begging after you good for nothing nuicance bullied him? Yes the same cave man who was illiterate that had prophecies from 1,400 years ago come true today lol. 'Permitted marriahe for himself' when it is Islamic Law universally. At least get your facts straight The hypocricy of appealing to “Paul had witnesses” doesn’t solve the issue as his experience on the road to Damascus is presented as a VISIONARY encounter, not a publicly verifiable event witnessed in the same way by others (Acts 9). Even Christian claims rely on transmitted testimony & historical sources. So I suggest drop the insults because deception to me is not being able to differentiate between who has knowledge of the Hour between your 3 Gods 🤡

@Timelessmsgx @billionapostate @GodLogic_GL Did you know why there was a need for canonicity? Did you even try to find out the criteria used to select the books? The joke is on you! Christianity is not a blind religion. Or you think all of Paul's letter/writings made it to the Bible? You need to read and stop being lazy

The "Right Hand of Fellowship" (Galatians 2:9) was a diplomatic handshake, not a theological stamp of approval. In reality, the "men who walked with Jesus"—James and Peter—clashed bitterly with Paul because he was dismantling the Law of Moses. Acts 21:20-21 proves the Jerusalem church was "zealous for the law" and suspicious of Paul’s teachings. Furthermore, defining the Bible as "66 books" reveals a Protestant bias that ignores the majority of Christian history and the 73+ books of the original canons. As for Acts 9:4, that wasn’t an "encounter"; it was a self-reported claim by a man who never spent a single day learning from the living Jesus. Dying for a belief doesn't make it true; it just makes you a sincere extremist. The problem isn't the "average Muslim"—it's the average apologist who mistakes a personal hallucination for historical evidence. Sit down, son.

My uncle died in October and was buried in November. For the burial, the entire family agreed to sew white senator outfits. Fast forward to today — my cousin had his wedding. Since the white senator we made for my uncle’s burial was still new, I decided to wear it to the wedding. I didn’t think it was a big deal. But when my cousin saw me, he became really upset. He started yelling, asking why I would wear a burial outfit to his wedding. Thankfully it happened indoors, so it didn’t turn into a public embarrassment. One of his groomsmen even pulled me aside and told me to just ignore it and not make it an issue. But ever since I got home, I’ve been thinking about the incident. Was I actually wrong for wearing the white senator we made for my uncle’s burial? Why do we attach so much meaning to what seems like superstitions?

This overused, overrepeated, and thoroughly exhausted point is honestly a foolish one. If Muslims were to start saying "Jesus is God", would that not make them Christians??? So why do Christians keep shouting Jesus is God when they know Muslims do not believe it? Isn't that, by your own logic, disrespectful to Muslims? Or jealous? Or whatever exactly you people mean when you make that argument 🤡 And when Christians say Jesus is God, are they not also being disrespectful to Jews, who believe he is not God and, according to their tradition, is boiling in excrement right now? But since some of you seem to operate on a strange "first come, first served" logic when it comes to religion, then Judaism existed before Christianity. Does that mean Jews automatically have the upper hand? So by that reasoning, why are Christians disrespecting Judaism and its beliefs every time they proclaim that Jesus is God?

I’m out of the house right now, yet there’s always power at home. As long as the sun rises, electricity is guaranteed. I don’t know what a national grid collapse is. Whether power stations get gas or not doesn’t concern me. Water levels at dams are not my problem. Bandits vandalizing transmission lines doesn’t affect me. All I need is for God to command the sun to rise, and my home keeps running. Yet you want me to accept the rhetoric that NEPA is better than solar? That argument makes no sense.

@Litkwalssnappy @osazenoo What's all these you wrote here? 1. Hybrid doesn't have to be with grid. It could be diesel or gas generator. 2. Do you know the surface area required to install 50MW solar panels? 3. Your point about "External" is why going off grid because of solar is suicide for any business

You don’t realize how unintelligent you sound when you claim hydropower or Gas Power is more reliable than solar. Your idea of solar is probably a 1kVA setup with tubular batteries trying to power a house whose load is far beyond that capacity. China powers roughly 150 million homes with solar. Do you think their lights blink on and off? The problem isn’t solar. The problem is poor planning. Calculate the load requirements of your house or building the instal a solar system that can power it comfortably. Don’t install whatever capacity you can afford and then start complaining that solar isn’t reliable.
