This is such a perfect example of how Trump broke the brains of so many on the Left. In the name of opposing "totalitarianism" and "defending democracy," DeNiro thinks there should be a body of elites who bar people from running for office, including someone who went on to win the popular vote.
What's sad is that DeNiro is obviously experiencing immense, totalizing pain, genuine psychic distress at the outcome of an election.
So much of their hatred of Trump is just an attempt to evade recognizing that democracy—their neighbors getting what they want when they vote in greater numbers—causes them searing psychic pain.

Nine U.S. citizens and illegal aliens, including two John Does, were charged in a federal crackdown on benefit fraud schemes in Massachusetts by ICE @HSINewEngland and its partners.
The accused allegedly used stolen identities belonging to U.S. citizens from Puerto Rico to steal more than $1.1 million in taxpayer-funded programs — including SNAP, MassHealth and Social Security benefits.
Stolen IDs were first used to obtain government-issued identification, including Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles credentials and, in some instances, U.S. passports, which were then used to apply for and receive public benefits.

The American Heart Association gave the administration an opportunity to review their 2026 dietary guidance, which is aligned with the U.S. Dietary Guidelines in the MAJOR issues: eat real food, limit processed foods, limit refined grains, limit added sugar.
These are the big things, and we will be a transformed country if we follow them.
We all agree that there is a historic moment - this year - to drive improvement to the standard American diet.
Nutrition education in med school, better school lunches, better hospital food, better military food, more transparency for consumers, SNAP reform, renewed focus on nutrition research, GRAS reform, ultraprocessed food definition.
These issues are too important to not work together on, and we are grateful for the @American_Heart constructive dialogue on these areas.

Ghazali wasn’t a man driven mad by grief. He was a man who was in the family business—terrorism. He spent months researching how to harm as many Jews as possible, then attacked his American neighbors. He desperately wanted to be a martyr—like his brothers.

A Somali fraudster who helped steal $3 million in the Feeding Our Future Somali scam in Minnesota was sentenced to only one year in prison by federal judge Nancy Brasel.
Abdul Abubakar Ali pleaded guilty back in 2022. After sentencing, his attorney said he disagreed with any prison time and said that "Mr. Ali had the best of intentions."

Not much shocks me these days. But this I found horrifying. This girl in Spain was gang raped in the "care" system. She was left so traumatized that she jumped off a building in a suicide attempt, yet lived but paralyzed. Now the state is euthanizing her instead!
