This story is nuts. This guy, Igor Komarov, the son of a Ukrainian crime boss, was kidnapped in Bali 2 weeks ago by some people who said his dad stole a ton of money from them. They broke his legs, cut off his fingers, and tortured the hell out of him and made him film a bunch of hostage videos disclosing how his family’s business scams people. Anywho, he’s dead now. Dad didn’t pay the ransom. Crazy stuff.

Meine Solidarität ist ehrlich gesagt am Ende. Wir arbeiten beide Vollzeit, machen Überstunden und trotzdem bleibt jeden Monat weniger übrig. Noch können wir etwas zurücklegen, aber es wird spürbar enger. Ich frage mich ernsthaft, warum ich solidarisch sein soll mit Menschen aus anderen Ländern, zu denen ich keinerlei Bezug habe. Das hat nichts mit Extremismus zu tun. Ich möchte das einfach nicht. Es ist auch Teil meiner Menschenwürde, sagen zu dürfen, dass ich das nicht möchte. Ich möchte weder Millionen Zugewanderte noch deutsche Staatsbürger mitfinanzieren, die dauerhaft auf Kosten anderer leben. Ein Sozialstaat darf helfen, aber er darf Leistung nicht bestrafen. Sonst verliert er genau die Menschen, die ihn tragen.
