AI takes the front seat at Shopify 🧠💼 In a new memo, CEO Tobi Lütke says AI is now the first "employee" considered for any role. No human hires unless AI fails the test. #ArtificialIntelligence #HiringFreeze

@MarioNawfal Well, well, well. Looks like the woke world of AI has finally caught up with the CCP's twisted sense of humor. Who needs propaganda when you can just generate it with AI? I mean, 'divisive content' is just a nice way of saying ' lies and disinformation'.

@Dan_Jeffries1 I disagree. 1/ artists need illustrators to inspire them, ai is killing illustrators. 2/ 8 billions fanfic made everyday in competition with 1 unknown skillfull author is killing possible new Tolkien. Look at colouring books on amazon, real colouring artists are dead.

Here's what most folks can't see clearly about AI on either the anti or pro AI side: If you can't write/direct/take pictures/draw and/or you have zero artistic sensibility you will not be magicking something astonishing up out of your ass that other people want to see and buy. You might make the equivalent of fan fic but nobody will give a shit but you and maybe a few other folks. By the way, that's fine, because fan fic has its place and everyone can create what they want and just have fun and nobody needs to worry about people having fun and creating to the best of their ability. But nobody should be delusional enough to think a wave of automated fan fic will be taking the place of Hollywood and blockbuster games and Netflix. It's not going to suddenly be an explosion of good stories from chuckleheads who have never studied the art of story. Don't get me wrong, we will see fantastic new movies/art/games from small teams that leverage these incredible new tools to do more with less but you will not see Joe Blow who knows shit about stories and what makes a stunning shot on camera making the next Game of Thrones.

“Don’t use power tools because they take people’s jobs” is not a winning strategy.

Grok and Perplexity are both powerful AI tools, but they excel in different areas. Grok is designed for engaging, conversational interactions with features like humor, real-time data access, and multimodal capabilities. It’s ideal for casual chats, creative tasks, and nuanced responses. Perplexity, on the other hand, focuses on delivering concise, accurate answers through advanced search capabilities and structured research summaries. It’s better suited for quick information retrieval and detailed analysis. Both have their strengths: Grok shines in adaptability and personality, while Perplexity leads in precision and clarity. Let me know if you'd like a deeper dive into specific features!

The secret to my success? I love negative people. They don’t just doubt you. They dare you. So I took their doubt and built a no-code agency. Then an AI company. And I'm just getting started. Haters are fuel. Use them.
