Leslie, in case you got bad info from your Jewish Liberal colleagues, Shabbat isn’t a photo‑op or a piece of performative theatre for the Liberal brand. For those who actually know anything about Judaism, photography, videography, mobile phones, and all electronic devices are prohibited during it. Jewish Liberals welcomed Leslie to this event along with any other convention delegate who wanted to attend. Many of used our devices because we are not all shomer shabbos. I am sure that those who are, made their own choice to not use electronic devices. When you are so partisan that you attack a friend of the community for supporting Jews of a different political and religious persuasion, then you have lost the plot.

So my cousin died yesterday. Canada ended his life. I hate M.A.I.D. No condolences are necessary. He agreed to it. The family is left to bear the heartbreak. F.U. Canada!

@Harold_Steves YES!!! I refused to vote in the last federal elections because I didn't feel represented by any political party. Federally that's no longer true. The provincial level is a whole other story. I'm not voting for anyone until Marit Stiles is replaced with an anti-genocide leader.

@sarobertsonca I'll vote NDP and support Avi Lewis for his stand on world peace, but I strongly disapprove of this approach. Subsidies encourage businesses that depend on government. Like our news media, Canada already has too many public subsidy leaches.

I remain firmly of the belief that if you are elected as a member of one party and you cross the floor, you should have to run in a by election. Especially since we are entering majority government territory and you are denying your constituents their voice for years potentially.
