@freestylecoder no i would want those ai assistants where it automatically does it for you, constantly. the problem is that these ai systems have no access to imessage

i would pay so much money to an ai assistant that can read my imessages and create invites for events and summarize my conversations daily

@freestylecoder I’m enjoying @Linux_Mint. I use it for dev with VS Code and Jetbrains, as well as general personal stuff. Really the way an OS should be.

I think I'm going to put #Linux on an old laptop that's struggling on Win10, due to a lack of TPM2 module. Old me would use Debian. More recent me would use Ubuntu. However, I know a lot of really good distros have come out lately. So, mostly dev, what distros should I look at?

@saltnburnem @quorralyne it's fundamentally impossible to share snacks remotely. 1 of my favorite parts of irl interaction is finding out who doesn't like coconut or really can't eat without a particular brand of ketchup

I'm remote first by choice. But I have to admit that getting together in person every so often really helps when you are building something new.

@freestylecoder There was literally no one in the drive thru behind me and that's often the case.

Why do fast food establishments ask you to not wait at the drive thru window for your order and instead "pull around the corner" and wait there? I'm assuming it has to do with having the wait time "not count" by some monitoring system.

@majornelson Biggest problem with running ethernet is interference from electrical wires. I'm about to run a fiber between stories in the house, so I can run it with electrical, and then patch out with Cat6, where I can more easily keep things separated in the attic and crawl space.

Anyone have experience running fiber in their house vs CAT6? Thinking of doing an experimental install to learn more.
