But we broke him. We made him fearful, developed separation anxiety, never fulfilled his needs. We tortured this sublime boy. In & out of homes, in & out of his cage, through it all he was a good boy. His faith in us, unwavering. His belief he was in good hands w/ people who would honor & respect his life.
