Thank you to everyone for listening to Canucks Central this season, it was one of the most fun year’s I’ve had in the industry, made extra special interacting with you all
I’m going on vacation for much of the next couple months but I’ll make a cameo for a week to end the month
Imagine if you told somebody in October that Arturs Silovs would be the hero to clinch a Vancouver #Canucks playoff series win. What an epic performance
A small detail but I think the Canucks did an amazing job when pulling their goalie twice. Don’t pull your goalie after you already have gone up the ice, pull your goalie before going up the ice so you have 6 skaters out there to retrieve the puck.
have been fortunate to be at some great events over my years in this biz. This one was something else. The entire day was wild. The goalie drama. The contrast of first 57 minutes vs frantic comeback. The OT win. The silence of 18,000. Really fortunate to have been here to see it
Hockey Physics:
When a 5-foot-9 player (Acciari) chooses to carry the puck - and thus lower his head - through 2 zones without ever looking up, and a 6-4 Dman (Dillon) is paid to impede his progress, head contact ensues.
Acciari should change his game, not Dillon, IMO.
