Henry Nowak was kind, thoughtful and much-loved. His life was stolen from him, leaving his family and loved ones devastated. The bodycam footage is harrowing. It’s absolutely right that the IOPC is looking at this. There are serious questions for the police to answer.

This an awful, shocking case. Henry’s loved ones have gone through the trauma of a long trial and endured Henry's killer making up appalling claims about their son who was thoughtful, kind and deeply loved. It is right that the IOPC is investigating the police’s response to his senseless murder. And we must end the cycle of tragedy by tackling the horror of knife crime. Henry’s family, friends, his university and the city of Southampton will continue to feel his loss, and our thoughts will always be with them.

Instead, he was chased and subjected to further abuse. - When police arrived, Henry was lying on the ground, unable to sit up and clearly suffering severe medical distress. - With his final words, he told officers nine times that he could not breathe. - He also repeatedly told them that he had been stabbed four times. - One officer responded: “I don’t think you have, mate.” - Police later claimed they had been misled by the murderer. - Henry’s father, Mark Nowak, believes the truth is far simpler. - Both Henry and a member of the public who called 999 told police that Henry had been stabbed. - Despite these warnings, officers failed to believe them. - Henry was dragged across gravel and placed in handcuffs. - Police arrested Henry for assault and read him his rights. According to his father, those were the last words Henry heard before he died. - Mark Nowak says his son was denied even the dignity of a proper death. - Henry should never have died on the streets of Southampton while in police custody. - Meanwhile, his killer, Vikram Digwa, was afforded a level of decency that Henry was not. Reports suggest he was not even handcuffed when arrested. - Officers reportedly took Digwa to the kitchen and allowed him to choose his own food.

May 1: 25.5% May 8: 27.9% May 15: 36.8% May 22: 39.2% May 29: 35.7% Five consecutive Fridays above 25% gamma rolloff. No week below the MASSIVE threshold. Tonight: 2.37M gamma shares and 26.64M delta shares expire. The delta number is the largest single-session rolloff going back to February. The put-to-call ratio on expiring contracts hit 4.17x tonight. Four puts for every call. These were hedges built during the rally, and they all died at the close. The mechanical buying from their decay is gone by Monday morning. SPY is up 4.8% since May 1. From $720 to $755 while every Friday stripped another layer off the gamma blanket that was keeping ranges tight. The rally is real.
