@NikkiHaley I'm so disappointed in you. You had the chance to be a future leader of the party, and the country, but you didn't stand on principle.

I end my campaign with the same words I began it from the Book of Joshua. I direct them to all Americans, but especially to so many of the women and girls out there who put their faith in our campaign.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged. For God will be with you wherever you go.
In this campaign, I have seen our country’s greatness. From the bottom of my heart – thank you America.
God bless.

@gtconway3d George, you are so right to challenge @ChrisCillizza on his defense of the archaic Goldwater Rule, a rule made unnecessary by DSM. My colleague Dr. Gartner and I have argued against the Rule on our new podcast, Shrinking Trump.

Chris defends the Goldwater rule in his “deep dive.” It has been the subject of severe criticism among many mental health professionals. Their informed criticisms are far more persuasive than Chris’s cursory defense. I attach a (small) sampling of their articles:

After hearing from @gtconway3d and reading up on @duty2warn, I did a deep dive into whether it's ethical (or fair) to diagnose Donald Trump with dementia from afar. My conclusion: It is not. You can read my full breakdown in my just-released newsletter. Link in bio.

@DrDavidVernon Yes, not to mention "Wild Strawberries" and The Golden Bowl.

Qu’as-tu fais
de la beauté bleue?
La soie de tes yeux.
Ton regard refermé
sur tes épaules,
Ton souffle de papillon.
Dans la nuit d’encre,
Je dors, regard ouvert,
À l’ombre d’un fin reflet,
Et le bâillon des abois.
La lueur de la Louve
existe sans moi.
Puis-je te rencontrer,
Outre que l'horloge
des temps arrêtés ?
Franchir l'insondable
cicatrice écarlate,
Délaisser l’esseulée.
Ployée bien bas,
Le pont de mon dos
Est tien.
Je te porte, sans fin
haut et loin.

Just one more reason to love Brahms!
Anthony Princiotti@tonyprinciotti
One notable aspect of Brahms' extremely-complicated personality was his resistance to the virus of anti-Semitism, which was so prevalent in Vienna. He described it as a type of "madness." It's likely that his closeness to Marxsen - who was Jewish - informed his perspective.
