So this picture was taken in 1995, when I was a senior in high school. I didn’t even know about it until 2017. It really blows my mind how much we have learned about the universe since then. Excited about what we will learn from this new picture!!

Also- my profile says wife of the year, and I take this seriously. My husband told me he had a free ticket to kerrville folk festival at 1 and was gone (for an overnight trip) by 2:30. His coolness involves some suffering!

Tonight, G is falling asleep, but will occasionally pipe up to ask me about the Jello I told him I would make for tomorrow. I wish I was as excited about ANYTHING as G is about his Jello.

Better than ever

@RunRocknRoll is so bad- I made a mistake on my registration and they can’t refund or transfer. So if you are a human that makes mistakes, this is not the run for you. And their contact # is not a working # (surprise!)

San Diego @RunRocknRoll is complete garbage. I was signing up for a half in San Diego on June 1, and accidentally signed up for the 2022 race (which was today!) easy mistake- awful website. Finally returned my email today- no transfers or refund!

Twin life. Chaos is kicked up to 11.

I think this has been my favorite year of teaching so far. It was hard- new subject (team of just me!), Covid, students got Covid… but I had some amazing students and colleagues this year!

Mom has a stroke early Monday a.m. I raced back to DFW and was told to say goodbye. Yesterday the Dr. uttered the words when she wakes up... We still have a long uncertain road, but we believe in prayer.
